I went there with a date, for lunch. The only thing I didn't care for was the wair to be seated. We stood there for 14 minutes waiting for someone. The woman who came in behind us walked immediately to the cashier and began speaking with her. She grabbed a menu and proceeded to walk around us and when a server finally came, she was at first. They didn't have a sign up, stating they were looking for help, but we weren't even acknowledged by anyone.

I ate here recently for the first time. The outside of the restaurant is far from appealing to me, but the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” applies here. I had a pork chop with fried potatoes, pinto, and cornbread. Absolutely delicious my partner had a roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and fries. Very, very good. For dessert we had some type of coconut pie, which I’m not a fan of pie, but this was very good. We also split one of their huge chocolate chip...

I’ve eaten here for many many years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are so friendly. Great home cookin’—highly recommend the cabbage rolls, graham cracker pie, and sage dressing! Oh and the dinner rolls—chefs kiss!
