Went to Guadalajara Modern Mexican for the first time. We regret waiting this long to try it!! The staff was friendly, it was extremely clean. Food came out hot and fresh. The meat on the taco and the Classic Jumbo Burrito was full of flavor l! My husband who never gives out 5/5 said this place deserves a 5 out of 5. We will definitely be back, and it’s our new favorite Mexican restaurant!! Fabulous food & service!!

I have been a long running customer at Guadalajara since it replaced Cali Tacos, but their customer service was so incredibly disappointing the last time I ordered from them that have no plans on returning. On January 17th my family ordered our regular pick up order and were told via phone the cost would be the usual, under 40 dollars. Upon arrival we are handed an almost 60 dollar bill with no explanation, when questioned the host who stated his brother was the owner advised me that he had no explanation as to why we were charged more, gave us our food and told us that for the incorrect bill (that he had no explanation for) it would be fully refunded back to our card. We waited a week and did not see the return, so we returned to the restaurant to figure out what had happened. The gentleman who helped us at this point informed us that the original phone order had been placed as a door dash ticket rather than a take out order and preceded to give us 10$ back.I am horribly upset that after a week of waiting, without being provided a proper explanation for the mishaps in the first place, which seems simple enough to have solved that evening, we did not even receive the refund we were told we would receive as we were overcharged due to an issue that was not our own doing. I have worked in many restaurants and plainly its just bad customer service.We were told twice( the night of the incident, and the night of “resolving” the issue) that the man who originally took the order was the brother of the owner as well. It’s obvious that this restaurant cares more about babying the feelings of their family than owning up to their mistakes, or resolving the issues their employees created for paying customers. Their food is good but I’d rather give my money to folks who care about the people who put money into their pockets and keep their business going. I would not be nearly as mad if i had not had to wait a week for them to take the time to look at their system and assist their customer, rather they found a simple in the moment solution that they had no plan of following through with, and did not care about wasting their customers time.

Exceptional modern take on Mexican. You can find traditional Mexican special ties. The star attraction however are a wide range of street tacos. You can do 3 for $14. My favorites include Birria, barbacoa, shrimp, fish and tongs chicken. Atmosphere is sports bar, but not too much noise to distract.

Pleasant little Mexican restaurant. The food was terrific but the service was awfully slow. We went early on a Saturday afternoon when there were more staff in the place than customers and it still took us quite a while to get waited on. That said, everything we ordered was delicious and I'd definitely go back again.

Atmosphere is great. Small place and can hear food sizzling with a Mexican theme. Place is clean. Salsa was good and not boended together. Tacos were amazing and beer was fresh. Ingredients were carefully made to perfection. Not all thrown together and tasted the same like some places. Service was spot on.

The food was wonderful. We were here on a Monday @ noon. Just traveling through on our way to Virginia. I had Mahi Mahi fish tacos and the creamy Street Corn dip. Very good!

A nice place for good Mexican food. Service was very attentive, and the interior is small yet with plenty of room between tables. Food was a bit on the greasy side and not very spicy but plentiful. Prices are reasonable, making it worth the cost.

I ordered takeout based on the menu on their website. I ordered Enchilada Supreme which was described as - Ground beef, chicken, tinga chicken, and
potato enchiladas topped with mole,
lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese, and
tomato. (Copied directly from the menu)
I got the beef and chicken enchiladas as stated. But I also got a bean and a cheese enchilada. Neither which I wanted. And certainly wouldn't have ordered. They were terrible. Also the prices were incorrect. Why bother having a menu on your website if it's not correct?
