Food was great but too slow we were there for ever. If I ever return I will get a very early time. Our waitress was running her legs off it was so busy. It was 2 of our birthdays and we were not offered a desert bummer due to how much we paid for our meal.

We have eaten at French Quarter multiple times and overall, happy with the food and experience. Booked for Valentine's Day and ordered their special Tomahawk for Two. First off, service was great and apps (lobster chowder and wedge salad) were good. We were told our entree would take an hour since it was a 40oz cut which were we fine with, and ordered it to be prepared medium. It was our anniversary and we were in no hurry. We relaxed and Enjoyed our drinks and starters. Entree arrived and sadly, the steak was cooked well done. Was way overcooked, very dry and we didn't eat much at all. Didn't ask for another because we didn't want to wait another hour. Mashed potatoes were good but creamed spinach was bland. We let our server know because so much of our meal was left uneaten but she seemed awkward and didn't say much. She suggested maybe they had brought us the wrong one but didn't offer any accommodation. Obviously, was an expensive meal but we left unhappy with our choice.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but we had a terrible experience for our Valentine's Day dinner last night. We had reservations and were immediately sat, but nobody came to greet us for 20 minutes. I finally asked a server who was walking by if they knew who our server would be, and he apologized and waited on us. The manager came out and apologized for our wait. Not a great start, but we were okay. But by the time the manager came out another 1 1/2 hours later (I wish I was exaggerating) to ask how our meals had been, we still hadn't been given our entrees. She told us our meals were on the house and apologized again. Said our meals had been given to someone else (how nobody noticed is beyond me). When we finally got our meals about two hours after arriving, mine was cold and neither was very good. We ate it anyway because at this point we were starving. Then we got the bill with the food still on it though the manager had offered to comp it for our troubles (we hadn't even asked for it, it was just offered, but then they didn't follow through). Our server said the manager had to leave so he wasn't sure if he could take it off or not but eventually, we did get our meals comped and only paid for our drinks (of which we had more than we intended, because we sat there for two hours without food). We were really looking forward to our Valentine's Day date and it was a bust.

Ordered NY strip medium. Steak was a bit tough. Better steaks at cheaper restaurants like Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Date got the free range chicken and said it was just alright too. Just expected better at this price.

My husband and I drove from Columbus Ohio. The prime rib dinner is awesome. Great experience. Thank you!

Excellent! Food & service great as always. Wonderful place to take clients. We always enjoy the casino plus our clients enjoy also. I had the best Salmon ever at this restaurant. Friday night seafood buffet also one of our favorites. Nothing bad to say.

My husband and I have eaten here before. I have 10yrs in the restaurant industry including 2 yrs of General Manager experience at a fine dining restaurant that specialized in steaks. My husband has been a Kitchen Manager and head chef for 3 years as well. When we arrived I noted 2 servers a bartender all on the floor. One server actively taking care of his tables and one leaning on a pillar near the bar. We stood at the host stand for several minutes made eye contact with the server leaning on the pillar no attempt was made to come speak to us. A few minutes later a host comes and greets us. Very kindly tells us unfortunately they have no open tables (they had the entire half of the restaurant empty so I must have looked baffled) she followed up by saying she only has two servers on so they can't take anymore tables currently great we understand that so I asked for a wait time she said 30-35 minutes. We debated said no thank you and as we were walking out my husband said let's just grab a drink at the casino bad and then go eat. I said let's me check online if we can do that. They had a time slot open for the 30 minutes we were quoted by the host so I booked it. Got the confirmation and we proceeded to wait for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes were up we went back up again same people on the floor the same server still leaning on the pillar looking utterly bored still waited several minutes for a host to come out. I tell her we booked online and she says well you'll still have to wait 1 hour or longer now because while we take same day reservations and online reservations we don't honor them in the same way. So I said okay so you don't honor reservations she ran away and got her manager. The manager explained we could have a table just no service for an hour. I asked why she said because we're short staffed and let me know I don't understand that they were unprepared for the restaurant to be busy...welcome to the restaurant industry you buck up and deal. Wtf.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Steph, our server, was phenomenal. He's an asset to the restaurant!

Food was just okay, it's so hard the French qtr. to have decent coffee, I don't understand how hard it is to have decent coffee. The desert filled donuts look like mold was growing on end where cream goes in, vegetables were way overcooked.

Look forward to your Wednesday & Thursday specials every Week. Especially Thursday. Always greeted professionally, service is extremely professional and enjoyable, and the dinner specials are a very good value as well as delicious. Hats off to the entire staff at the French Quarter as it is very noticeable that everyone does their best to make my dining experience top knoch. It is appreciated.

Waited one hour from order to food arriving. When II arrived it was not hot, barely warm. Drinks were refilled once despite being empty for a long periods while we waiting on our food. In the end, it was recognized that we had been there a long time and the chef offered a free dessert. It took 30 minutes for the dessert to arrive. It was a breaded pudding, which was cold when it made it to the table. I have gone this location a grand total of three times. The first time was one of the most amazing experiences I ever had at a restaurant and that was during Valentine's Day. The second experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The third experience was the worst I've ever had there and I'm pretty well convinced that my wife and I will probably not go back.

Food was good and cocktails were great! They did mix up our steaks but other than that it was great!

The seafood buffet was excellent, staff kept it stocked with fresh items. The prime rib was outstanding. Over all the selection and food was great.

My dining companion and I loved the, "all you can eat" seafood buffet at the French Quarter Restaurant at the Mardi Gras Casino. The buffet has crab legs and prime rib, as well as, huge shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half-shell, smoked salmon, sushi and numerous fried seafood, side dishes , salads and desserts which helps me justify the price. A non-alcoholic drink is also included as well. I couldn't afford it frequently, but it is a nice treat occasionally!
