Best for last, the reuben - best reuben we’ve had in the state of WV and it was in egg roll form. Will try to return to get the actual reuben sandwich.Hiroshima - very interesting dish, really enjoyed the ball of rice. Just the right amount of crunchiness. Broccoli and chicken are done just right. I got it “spicy,” and it wasn’t (in my opinion). Waitress got more spice for me super quickly. Really appreciated the flavor after the addition of more spice.Crispy Chicken Melt with onion rings - good taste, all seemed a touch over cooked. Still enjoyed it though.Incredible wait staff, very attentive and very busy keeping everything clean.It got a bit loud from casual conversations at other tables, not enough to dampen our experience.

This is my favorite local restaurant. Everyone I know loves their burgers. The chicken teriyaki, Hiroshima, and Ramen are fantastic. If you get there when they still have their daily special, you'll definitely enjoy it. Each special is something not on the menu, so it's always a delicious surprise (lasagna, grilled cheese and chili, baked steak, meatloaf, cabbage rolls, pot pies, etc.). I've been there as often as 3 times in a week just because of those daily specials! And you should definitely try the dessert egg rolls. They are inexpensive and a nice, sweet way to end your meal.Shima goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy. Today was March 14 (3.14 ... which is Pi Day). A group of us planned ahead to meet there for dinner, and Shima helped us celebrate by making 4 special pies. How amazing is that!This is a local business that is so easy to support. Great food, great owner, and reasonable prices!

This was my first time dining at this hidden gem. It may be a little out of the way if you live in or around Charleston but it is worth the drive. I got the special Chicken salad sandwich and a bowel of Chili for 7.99. The sandwich had a good serving of chicken salad served on texas toast. The bowel of chili was an actual bowel of soup. We were given a sample of the lasagna egg roll which was so good we ordered the sample egg rolls. The egg rolls are fresh and thick with a variety of flavors to choose from. You are served such good portion you may have some left over for a snack later or lunch the next day.
Today was our second time ordering Shimas via DoorDash and both times have been amazing. Definitely recommend the egg rolls. We will be frequent customers!

Ate there Saturday afternoon only had 1 waiter workers, she was trying but to many customers to wait on ! Had a cheeseburger with Fry's . Bun was stale and meat cooked to a farewell done! Lettuce and tomatoes were very tired. 1 bad meal I had there. Will try again maybe just a bad day for them. Don't know we're the owner was ?

First time I've tried Shimas after hearing nothing but good things. I ordered it off Grub Hub. I'm glad to say that it was all true. The food was still pretty warm when I got it. Packaged weel, no spills. I think this was the best hot bologna sandwich I've had other than gmaws. The bologna was cut THICK! And the sauce was delicious!! We also tried the Hiroshima.. the sauce was great and it was very filling. Side of bacon fried rice.. delish! For dessert we tired a cherry cheesecake eggroll... perfection!!! This will be a new go to for me.. i will have dreams about that hot bologna sandwich!
