The last time I visited Der Dog Haus was when it was in the mall! I decided to take my kids for a treat and was not disappointed. The food was so good. They had a great menu and it was tough to decide what to get. I went with the classic burger and rings. Service was friendly and attentive. The house was packed!!! We had to wait but not very long and it was worth it.
Going there for many years so they are almost like family. Some nights specials bring crowds in and there's a wait for a table,but it's nice seeing friends and neighbors come in to eat too.
We stopped in as we were traveling. We had soup and sandwiches. Every single one of us loved their food. The vegetable beef soup was definitely homemade, huge amounts of chuck roast and vegetables, delicious broth. The macaroni salad was the creamiest we had ever tasted. The owner stopped and sat with us at our table for a short while.
