This has got to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, even the drive thru is bad, bathrooms and not clean, I stood at the counter for 10 mins, while the cashier was talking with another worker on her break 🤦. We travel thru this way a lot, I have to wonder if the main headquarters knows the owner doesn't seem to care? We're done stopping, Thomas Mt Top is clean bathrooms and much nicer workers.

Workers in the drive thru acted like they hated the world, and they had me pull past the window and wait on food. It definitely could have been a nicer, more pleasant experience

Best mcdonalds food I've had in a while. I live in Parkersburg so passing through this mcdonalds on the way back from Blackwater Falls. Only bad part was the false advertisement on the minions toys and they had something else, so I had 2 mad little boys.?♀️

Workers got very visibly annoyed when big orders came in
This is my horrid review of this McDonalds. The first thing the first thing that was terrible was this blood curdling sound coming from kitchen and it wasn’t like that just when i walked in, it was like that the entire experience so i should have walked out then. The next thing was that i ordered one thing and that was a spicy mccrispy deluxe and instead of that i was given a plain mccrispy that was burnt and the bun that it one had tiny bits of mold on it. The final thing that sent me off the wire was the rude and hideous employees. First i used the self ordering system to get my meal so i still don’t get how they got my order wrong. Next is how i said before they were super rude about this all like when i went and got my food she basically threw it at me. Finally at my last straw was when the lady working the register was talking about how she had a dui just a couple days before and i don’t want anyone like that working at places I’m eating so i left my food on the table and walked out. That is my review about my horrendous experience at this establishment.

**Customer Service - An Absolute Nightmare** From the moment I walked in, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed completely uninterested in their jobs. No one greeted me when I approached the counter, and the cashier seemed annoyed that I was even there. I had to repeat my order multiple times because they were not paying attention. It’s as if they were doing me a favor by taking my order, rather than providing a basic level of service.
**Cleanliness - A Health Hazard Waiting to Happen** The cleanliness of the restaurant was another major issue. The floors were sticky, and there were visible crumbs and trash scattered across the dining area. The tables had not been wiped down, and I had to clean one myself just to have a place to sit. The drink station was a mess, with spilled soda and trash everywhere. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were filthy. There was no soap in the dispensers, the floors were wet and dirty, and it smelled terrible. I honestly felt like I needed to sanitize myself after using the facilities.
**Food Quality - A Disgrace to Fast Food** Now, let’s talk about the food. I understand that McDonald’s is not a gourmet restaurant, but I still expect a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, what I received was far from acceptable. My burger was cold, the bun was stale, and the lettuce was wilted and brown. The patty was dry and overcooked, lacking any flavor. The fries, which are usually a highlight at McDonald’s, were soggy and lukewarm. They seemed like they had been sitting out for hours before being served to me.
Additionally, my order was incorrect. I had asked for no pickles on my burger, but it came loaded with them. I also ordered a sweet tea, but I was given a regular unsweetened tea instead. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they acted like it was my fault for not checking the order before leaving the counter. No apology, no attempt to make it right—just a blank stare and a shrug.
**Value - A Complete Rip-Off** Given the poor quality of food and service, the prices at this location were outrageous. I felt like I was paying for something I didn’t receive. Fast food is supposed to be affordable, but at this point, I would have rather spent my money elsewhere, even if it meant paying more. At least I would have gotten a decent meal and better service.
**Overall Experience - Never Again** In conclusion, my visit to McDonald’s was a complete disaster from start to finish. The terrible customer service, lack of cleanliness, and poor food quality made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly urge others to reconsider before eating here. There are plenty of other fast food options that offer better food, cleaner environments, and staff who actually care about their customers. The meat on the big mac was burnt and the size of the center of my palm, not sure if it was meat. The girl that took our order discussed with some boys that came in after us how two old men came in and asked her if she had a fans only page, so she was gonna get one. Their was a lady sitting at a table that disappeared into the bathroom with lots of plastic trash bags full of clothing and other stuff go into the bathroom and was in there well over 30 minutes of our time being there and never came back out. Very young teenagers running this place and worst food I ever had. The young girl thought a lot of herself with these 4 boys that came in. The conversation we heard was pretty entertaining but vulgar at times. We will never get food there again.
