We were passing through the area and found this wonderful little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It was a Sunday lunch and the church crowd was in full swing. We managed to get a table and the servers were quick and friendly. They let us know they were busy and gave updates on when our meals were coming. Even still, with the placed packed to the gills, it wasn't an unreasonable wait (despite the lady behind us complaining loudly, shame...). They warned us of large portions and they weren't exaggerating. I got a half size salad that would probably have been a full size at most other places. The lettuce was a spring mix, very good and fresh, with berries and grilled chicken. Yum. While we got close to cleaning our plates, it was a challenge. Prices were amazing given the portions. I would gladly stop again, and with the amount of locals in attendance, I hope they continue sending out massive plates of great food.

The food is tasty, the service friendly and the prices reasonable. The place was packed on a Sunday morning, yet we got served promptly and the food arrived sooner than in most restaurants. The hotcake, as advertised, was the biggest we had ever seen, fluffy and yummy.

Terrible experience! Ordered coffee that was basically flavored hot water. Ordered the lunch special of chili, grilled cheese and hushpuppies. The waitress did not inform me there were no longer any hushpuppies. 50 minutes later the food arrived without hushpuppies. I informed the waitress that hushpuppies were missing and she then told me they no longer had hushpuppies. I started eating the chili and it was ice cold. The grilled cheese was never grilled....I sent my special back to the kitchen. Please avoid this restaurant. This does not demonstrate any family traditions that I am familiar with.

Great food at a ridiculously reasonable price! The portions are absolutely ginormous and taste wonderful. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We were able to order a pork chop that wasn't even on the breakfast menu. The sausage patties look and taste homemade and the sausage gravy is some of the best I've had. Family Traditions is off the main drag and easy to miss.

love your restaurant , wife and I went for dinner on Tuesday August 22. The waitress was very pleasant to talk to, I had a nice time, she was very nice . The food was served very quick, and the quality of both meals was above average by far. Wife had hot roast beef and potatoes, which she could not eat it all. I had the ham dinner , very happy I went.
