Just ate breakfast from here 2 biscuits and gravy 😋 the absolute best I've had since I was a kid. Definitely 2 thumbs up, tasty and made perfect ❤️ staff are wonderful and friendly! Definitely going back for more at some point but not right now I'M STUFFED! Thank you for the wonderful food!!!!

Visited for breakfast on New Year's Day. We ordered the Philly (steak & cheese) omelet, a chocolate chip pancake and French toast. Everything tasted great and the coffee was hot & fresh. Our server came by multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and to offer us more coffee. Highly recommend!

We're in town on business, my husband travels for work, and occasionally, we travel with him. He will be working a night shift this job, and we were looking for a "Mom & Pop" diner to get some lunch before getting some extra sleep, and oh boy did we find the Best place! The service: From the minute we walked in the door with our 10 month old daughter, everyone was incredible. Staff and fellow patrons alike were friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke to us all. (We expected them to speak to our daughter. It happens everywhere we go.) The food: The food was so delicious and perfectly fit what we wanted. My husband had the roast beef, which, melted in your mouth, and I had the country fried steak, it was perfectly tender. Our side dishes of mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac-n-cheese tasted like they were much fresher than canned or boxed. Our sweet waitress made sure we had smaller bowls of mashed potatoes and apple sauce for our daughter. We will definitely be going back there for take-out more this week before work.

Had lunch here. It's a Great country feel. We had bacon burgers and they were very good. They also had a breakfast buffet when we arrived, however we opted foe lunch!! All employees were very nice and welcoming!!

First time trying the weekend breakfast buffet. Was very good! Great selection they kept replenished. Great coffee and service. Highly recommend!
We ate in there for the first time yesterday and the food was fabulous. The cornbread was more like a cake, so light and yummy. The servings were more than adequate and I brought home the little bit I couldn't eat there - didn't want to waste any! You have to wait for your food, but fresh-cooked is worth the wait. We will definitely go back next time we are in Petersburg!!

I had breakfast their Sunday morning with 2 friends ..The girl that waited on us was not at all friendly..We had to ask her for silverware, we also had to ask her for the rest of our food.. She did not come back to check on us after she delivered our food. She did not refill our coffee cups .At one point I got up and walked to the counter to ask for more coffee. She brought back just enough to fill my cup and did not bother to return with more to fill the other 2 cups up. We finished our breakfast and I waited for her to return and clear away some of the dirty dishes..she did not.I gather them up and sat them on another table.. Again she did not return. Usually I would have left a 20.00 dollar tip.. because I have also waited tables in my time.. But I only left her 7.00 dollar and honestly I felt that was 5 to much.. We have had breakfast their before and the service had never been that bad.. We will not be back.. One more thing a couple came in while we were their, they may not have been locals. They stood at the door looking around as if to be greeted by the staff..not one of the staff spoke to them guided them in anyway.So they turned around and left..Your customers are you business..
