We had a rack of ribs they were fall off the bone delicious. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that there is minimal seating, so if you are there as a group, be prepared to wait for a seat. We didn't realize it was outside seating only.

Ate at Twisted Pig and I can’t say enough great things about them!I met the owner Steve,and he went over the menu with me.I decided on the ribs,and brisket with Mac & cheese.When I say it’s great BBQ,it really is an understatement!It’s in the top 3 BBQ places I’ve ever eaten at,and I love BBQ!Everyting was tender,flavorful,and just plain delicious!Not only will I be back,but I’m telling everyone I know to try his food.Outstanding job sir!

Stumbled upon this sweet spot of Louisiana deliciousness while traveling. The special for the day was the Rib plate and it didn’t disappoint. Fall-off-the-bone ribs, homemade macaroni and cheese, potato salad and coleslaw, ALL were fantastic! Also got an order of Shrimp & Grits…Wow! So buttery good! We will definitely be back! To the owners, we appreciate your attention to creating mouth-watering foods for our tastebuds!

The owners of the Twisted Pig are Louisiana transplants, and they know their business.I had the brisket sandwich with a side a baked beans, and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. We were both more than happy with our foodAll seating is outdoors.If you like BBQ, stop here when in Petersburg!

Listen to me! Absolutely stop here.This place is a hidden gem. Great BBQ with a simple menu, basically Pulled Pork, Brisket, or Ribs. You can get the brisket and pork on/in a bunch of different ways. Handful of delicious sides that make you feel like you’re in the south. The owners/employees are very kind and made sure our food was perfect for us, and offered to bring it to our car as well. They did not have a tip jar nor ask for tip when we paid by credit card, however we wanted to give a tip and we did when they brought the food to the car. I recommend doing the same as you don’t often find service like this nowadays.All the food was 9/10 or above, the prices were excellent and I hope they can keep them that level for as long as possible. To get a platter of meat and 2 sides for $14 is just too good of a deal. The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal and didn’t have too much of a porky taste and held its sauce + smoke flavor.Ribs were meaty and pretty much fall off the bone, they had an interesting glaze to them which was still delish. The brisket was a little tougher than expected but smoked so well that we didn’t mind chewing.Everything was perfect and hopefully I am this far out west to visit again.
