This place is incredible. The views that can be admired from the dining room are spectacular. They have an extensive menu daily. They also have a bar area. The food is good, but the service is awesome. The staff here is very attentive and committed to providing you with the best they can offer. The chef will personally come to your table and inquire about your experience , as well as any special request you may have. I really enjoyed my visit here. The restaurant can be found within McKeever Lodge inside Pipestem Resort. I highly recommend this place for the views, the experience, and also good food.

Get a seat at the window and marvel at the insanely amazing views. The food is only okay. It's typical WV fare of BBQ, Hamburgers, lots of unhealthy fried stuff, etc. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich. The service is good. But the views....incredible.

I can't recommend this place enough. I was working in the area on a crew doing storm restoration and we stopped in for a bite to eat during lunch. Our waiter provided second to none service and the food was excellent. The view and atmosphere were also great. He thanked us for the work we've been doing and comped the checks. Please go out and support this local business! They have solid values.

Food is your standard Aramark/Sysco heated-up variety. I thought it funny that “chipotle aoli” came out as mayo and buffalo sauce mixed together… sorry ‘chef,’ we saw through that one. Salad bar has iceberg lettuce.
The breakfast buffet has your typical hotel continental breakfast offerings, although I felt the warmers didn’t keep the food warm enough.

This was my first time here. It became clear as soon as we arrived that it was understaffed and not prepared for the amount of reservations that was there that night. After a considerable amount of time waiting I offered to help bus some tables to speed thing along. Just looking at 5 open tables sitting there dirty and the three staff members so over worked they couldn't get to them. One we were seated the food was delicious and service far better then anticipated. The 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐'s is more a reflection of management than staff.

It is what it is. You can have good service and then the next time have horrible service. Very inconsistent. I waited an hour for breakfast the last visit. Which wasn't representative of my last visit which was great.
Going to the Pipestem State Park Bluestone Dining Room was a Mother’s Day treat for my special gal. Although we didn’t arrive until 12:20 PM, we couldn’t order from the menu. After bring seated, we were told the only food available until 2:00 PM was the Breakfast Buffet. Already being seated, we agreed to breakfast. The selection was minimal and contained a salad bar along with desserts, kinda strange! As stated, selection of food was sparse and included fish. After selection the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuit, one helping was all we could handle. Not that we were full, but the semi-cold food was all we could stand. When ordering the check, the real surprise came. The total for two buffet meals, one glass of water and one regular size soft drink was $59.34. That’s when we were told the management increased the price because “it was Mother’s Day” Totally outrageous. I ask the waiter what would happen if I refused to pay the exorbitant price, his reply was “guess you’ll have to wash dishes”! This was our first experience with Breakfast at the Pipestem State Park Bluestone Dining Room and it will definitely be our last. One last note, we were not told the price of the breakfast buffet before agreeing to it, assuming the cost would be reasonable and the smell of the fish overwhelmed the he dining area. Next Mother’s Day lunch, after church services, will be somewhere besides Bluestone Dining Room. Very disappointed with both food and price!

We came to eat today after exploring, as we are from out of town. We were taken care of today by Norman. And he was amazing. Not only was the service great, he was willing to share his knowledge of the area and helped us plan out the rest of our trip. Food was great and service even better.
