Oh noooooo! My fiance and I are traveling to Pipestem this weekend and its his first time and I have told him approx 93,847 times about how INCREDIBLE Brandons BBQ is! I am sooooo sad to hear about the loss! :( But 5 stars for many years of wonderful and very memorable meals. I hope to see you guys rebuild soon! If you see a lady ugly crying in her car out front this weekend....its just me. I needed to mourn this phenomenal loss. We love Brandons BBQ!!!

3 stars since the BBQ was good and the atmosphere was nice. Not 5 because the sides were nasty. Fries and shrimp weren't fully cooked. The BBQ beans basically tasted like pork n beans with BBQ sauce added. I probably won't visit again.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. At the end of July, my Mom had a celebration of life service for my Poppy, who passed December 2020. She decided, as it wasn’t many options at the time, to use Brandon’s as her caterer. She told him that she needed food for 35 ppl. I’ve personally worked in food service for over 17 years now and am still in shock that she got ripped off the way she did. You see, when you are catering for x amount of ppl, there should be enough food for said ppl. Between the pot roast and potatoes, there wasn’t enough for even 10ppl. The veggie tray didn’t come with dip, as promised. The cooler which had sodas and water appeared as if they just came from a fishing trip. Completely filthy and disgusting! The chicken could have been cooked for another 20 minutes at least. The cakes tasted good, however, the chocolate cake was falling apart. In the food industry, presentation is everything. Each item she requested was 1 pan, not even full and nowhere near close to feeding 35 people. The Mac and cheese had a strange taste and wasn’t at all what we expected. I’ve never personally been inside this restaurant, but the catering sucks. They charged $1,300.00 for food that probably couldn’t have even fed 10 people. It makes me sick that establishments like this are still up and running and ripping people off like that. When she asked how much it was per person, (how most restaurants do catering) he started stammering and made it seem like he didn’t have a clue without his ‘paperwork/receipts’. As a owner of any business, especially in the food industry, trust me he knew. He knew that he didn’t have any answer or receipt because he straight ripped her off. By the time we thought to take pictures (30 minutes later), the food was gone. For the record, there weren’t even 35 people and not everyone ate, so it definitely should’ve been leftovers. This is a long review and if you’ve made it this far, don’t patronize this restaurant, especially their catering. The food my mother received should’ve cost no more than $500 if that. What a sad excuse of a so called catering place this is! Disgusting! Shame on you, Brandon!

Best food in the area! We often travel from Lexington, NC to Pipestem and Brandon's is always a must! Over the many years, we have never gotten anything from the menu that we didn't like. We always recommend Brandons to our friends.
