During our two-day drive home to Iowa from Virginia, we were getting hungry and I pressed "restaurants" on the Google Maps route. It suggested Boomtown Cafe. Yeah... that other guy is right-- this is NOT a restaurant. Shame on you, Google! I can't actually comment on the atmosphere, because my father shut the door just as quickly as he opened it, saying, "Yeah, we're not eating here." A lovely lady (don't know if she was the owner or a patron) followed us out and offered some restaurant selections. That's the main reason for my 5-star rating--that and the fact that it gave us a good story that we've already told twice to friends. But the lady was right: "This is a gamblin' place."
