Great little ice cream shop. But kind of basic flavors for ice cream.

Super tasty, I got black berry cobbler with lemon custard. It's where I chose to go for my birthday if that says anything.

It's not Birkshires. It's renamed Evens Sweets Frozen Custard no ice cream.

Took a long time before anyone came to take my order and they were not even busy.

I don’t want to bad mouth any business and typically I will not do a review, but changes need to be made at this (what used to be great) frozen custard spot. Over the past few months service has declined extremely. Tonight was the worst. I had a very simple order of a chocolate milkshake with some Reese’s cups added in. The first time the milkshake came out after a 45 minute wait it was watered down and just looked like chocolate sludge. It also had no Reese’s cups in the mixture. I decided to politely ask for some Reese’s to be added in to which wasn’t an issue but this was also another 10 minute wait just to be seen. I also want to note that when I walked in the door I wasn’t spoken to or greeted. I had to bring an employee’s attention to my issue. Then I watched as the other employee didn’t seem to have a clue as to how to add Reese’s into the already made milkshake. I stood there for another 10 minutes and watched as the employee with NO GLOVES kept using my straw to try and mix in the resse’s. I want to note that no employee was wearing gloves while handling money and then preparing the food and drinks. By the time that I got the milkshake it was completely melted and discolored. I don’t want to blame the employees completely because it appears as though they have not had proper training. Unfortunately what used to be my favorite place to get a sweat treat has just lost a loyal customer. Berkshires was doing something right that Evan’s sweets is not. The quality and taste isn’t the same. The customer service is non existent. I hate to see what used to be a flourishing business fail in this way. Change needs to be made. I could’ve given this a 1 star but I’m giving it 2 as a courtesy and hope for changed to be made.

I absolutely love their ice cream! Especially the chocolate, I have never had such rich, delicious chocolate ice cream anywhere. Most places you can get ice cream have the pale chocolate with very little, if any flavor, but the chocolate here is amazing. We love it and stop by almost every time we're in Princeton. My son loves their footlong hot dogs and I get the regular Ball Park, very good.I wish they had fries and maybe onion rings to go with the dogs and burgers but that's NOT a deal breaker for us, lol.

The cobbler was eh, but the banana split was good. I love the pineapples they put in.Also it’s no longer called Berkshires. It’s now Evan’s sweets. Needs to be renamed on the map

Great food and custard, different flavors of the week every week is awesome Not many custard places near me and it’s a real treat compared to ice cream

I ordered a strawberry smoothie but they just gave me a yogurt cup (smoothie size) seems not welcoming for me

The prices were higher and small servings. Had to wait on order, when we got it not much custard and toppings was on the outside of the container and not cleaned off. First and last time there.

(Princeton location) Cookies and cream frozen custard tasted nothing like cookies and cream. When it's your flavor of the week, it should taste like what you claim. Their normal chocolate and vanilla have been good when I had them previously, but we were severely disappointed in the cookies and cream flavor of the week. We didn't even finish our frozen custard. Also the waffle cone exploded (it was paper thin) when we grabbed it and they just gave us a cup to put it in, no offer to remake it.

Ever since they changed management and went to Evans Sweets they are 10 times slower at EVERYTHING. It used to be worth the short wait but now you wait 20 minutes just for a banana split and guess WHAT!! You have to ask for a banana (that costs extra) in the banana split you just ordered! Does the name banana split not imply that it comes with a banana. Will not be going back anytime in the near future. Very disappointing
