Stopped by Evan's Sweets with my family while staying at Four Fillies Lodge cabin rentals in Peterstown, West Virginia, and I was very impressed with Evan's Sweets! First of all, the custard was delicious! Everything we had was great. And secondly, the shop itself is adorable. Will definitely be back when I stay again with Four Fillies Lodge!
I needed a pit stop along my drive up I-77, and this ice cream shop fit the bill. Yes, it’s a bit of a drive from the interstate, but well worth it. It’s decorated in a 50’s retro style, with indoor and outdoor seating.
I split a brownie sundae with my daughter, and it was more than enough for both of us. The brownie was hot and gooey. Cute place, nice atmosphere, and yummy ice cream.

I absolutely love their ice cream! Especially the chocolate, I have never had such rich, delicious chocolate ice cream anywhere. Most places you can get ice cream have the pale chocolate with very little, if any flavor, but the chocolate here is amazing. We love it and stop by almost every time we're in Princeton.My son loves their footlong hot dogs and I get the regular Ball Park, very good.I wish they had fries and maybe onion rings to go with the dogs and burgers but...
