I had a couple really good, valid coupons I received in the mail. When I ordered I was told they don't accept coupons at this location. I have previously used coupons at that location. They accepted them with no issues then (roughly 1-1.5 years ago). I get policies change but there is no signage or notices posted in the restaurant that state they no longer honor coupons at this location. The app also does not state that this location does not honor coupons. I really would have appreciated knowing that information before hand because I would not have suggested going there for dinner if I would have known they no longer accept coupons and I would be spending way more than I intended on dinner for my family of 5. I feel like Subway could add and maintain a list on their website or app of their stores and franchises that do not honor coupons. At the very least they could have a list of the local stores that won't take the coupons listed on the local coupon mailer. I am also slightly off put by the somewhat recent change of putting the steel covers over the meats and cheeses. You can no longer see them and it kinda bothers me because I can't see if that meat is a funky color or if there is mold on the cheese before my sandwich is even assembled. I get it is probably a necessary safety precaution to ensure the ingredients stay at the proper temp and probably prevents bacteria growth but again it has been uncovered for years. What is the big deal now and why aren't Subway coupons that are being circulated locally honored at the local franchises? Why bother wasting the time, money and trees to circulate coupons that will not be accepted by those stores?
Vegetarian options: They have a Vegetarian sub option. You also have the choice of all of the veggies offered to non-vegetarian customers. You can build your own Veggie sub, exactly the way you want it with your favorite veggies.
Dietary restrictions: Subway offers various customization options that can help you create a meal that fits your individual dietary needs. They have many dietary options such as; Whole grain breads/Low carb, lean meats and cheeses/high protein, an assortment of veggies to add fiber and vitamins that may be required and they offer a wide variety of regular/low fat/sugar free dressings and condiments. It is one of the few restaurants that is actually dietary restriction friendly because you can create your own sandwich from the bottom up with the ingredients you choose for yourself.
Parking: The Subway is in the UTC Walmart and naturally they share the parking lot as well as the building. With that being said the parking lot does become congested and hard to navigate especially during the beginning of the month, peak business hours and holidays. The local bus also stops there every hour or so and when there's a lot of traffic and pedestrians that does create some issues with the flow of traffic. Sometimes it can take several minutes and lots of patience to navigate the lot and can be challenging to find a parking space during the more busy times. They do have several handicap parking spaces throughout the entire parking lot (providing you have a valid handicap placard). There are also a few parking spaces that are reserved for law enforcement personnel only.
Kid-friendliness: They have a couple high chairs/booster seat options at this location. Subway does offer kids meals with many options to choose from. They also have kid friendly drinks like low fat milk/chocolate milk, juices, teas, water and plenty more options for childrens drinks. You can also get a 6 in sub instead of a 12 inch. Our kids always eat about the same things on their subs so we sometimes will order a Footlong and half it between kids. They also have options like pizza. This store also has Red, Blue and Coca Cola Slush Puppies, Pop Corn, Salted/unsalted/Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels & Nacho Cheese. Subway has some of the best cookies and they have several kinds as well. I haven't been to Subway for a long time. So I asked what kinds of bread were available, the server said, white and cheese. I thought I had misunderstood, so I ask again. The answer, white and cheese. I said I'd guess I'll take cheese. I ordered my sandwich and checked out. Both of the servers were not friendly at all. As I walked away, w/a different view of the counter, I noticed there was a list of 6 or 8 bread choices. Curiously, I wasn't told any of that. Unfriendly, not helpful--not going back.

Walked into the store and the guy walked out of the back corner where the bathrooms are and went straight to putting on the gloves! I asked him to wash his hands first before putting the gloves on so he just used the sanitizer liquid next to the sink!This store needs food saftey 101 classes! Imagine what they do when a customer isn't standing in front of them.

If the manager is working your sandwich will be phenomenal. I don't know how many times I take my sandwich back over it being messed up when other people are working.

Would rather talk to each other rather than getting work done. Terrible service. Just go to the one next to Walmart near kingwood. Way better service there. This store constantly causes issues and sandwich errors
It was a Subway. As usual not particularly clean, but not particularly dirty. A very disgusting practice with reserving one restroom for "employees only."
