What a GEM of a restaurant!! Extremely clean, amazing food (I had the pork tenderloin dinner and one of my companions had the trout - both dishes HIGHLY recommended), and the waitress was very friendly and attentive to a group who obviously were not from the area. If you don't have room for homemade pie, make sure you take a piece to go!!! (Cornbread also deserves a mention - delish!!!)
Of course you'd find this little piece of heaven in west Virginia. Stopped in for breakfast and loved it so much came back for dinner. You know when you eat something and it reminds you of your Nana's home made food, it takes you back to the good ol days, that's the definition of just how good their food is. Not only is the food amazing but the prices are so reasonable I didn't feel the need to watch what I ordered because it didn't cost an arm and leg...
Food was absolutely wonderful! I had a open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and Cole slaw. All was fantastic. My husband had a cheeseburger and he said the burger was excellent. It is actually good home cooked meals. The waitress was also great!
