This is the first time I’ve ever been to short story brewing and I’ve clearly been missing out. We came for live music, but the bartender is KILLING IT!!! She has a packed house but isn’t missing a beat .. our beers stay full, our food was hot and delicious, and she barely looks like she’s sweating. I’ve checked out Short Story Brewing in Rivesville, Charleston, and now their (new!!!) Morgantown location, and I’m consistently impressed. The friendly staff, diverse craft beer selection, creative and tasty food, and the artsy/inspiring, relaxing atmosphere are always top-notch. Bad service & bad management.
Following waiting almost two hours of waiting on service, after multiple attempts to correct the situation, the bill was ‘comped’.
I’m not sure why the bill was ‘comped’ for something that was not provided. Told to ‘get the *uck out when I asked why I was being comped for something never provided.
