We had made reservations 1 month in advance. When we got there, the hostess was not ready. Eventually she came and said to sit in the bar because our table wasn't ready, or we could sit at a table for 4. We just took that table. The food was excellent and very generous portions too. We were alittle disappointed there were children there on a Saturday evening. That really changed the vibe.

Food and service where both fine. There was nothing special about this place. The view is better than nothing. The only thing holding this resort back is its food and beverage. While it's not bad it is no better than fine. The food at the breakfast buffet is soggy and the tables where sticky.(not at lightburns). The whole resort needs a major upgrade in the food and beverage department.

The smoked brisket & smoked pork shoulder were delicious. Be aware that the portions are huge & could easily be shared. The pork was heavily seasoned and a bit dry but still yummy! The meats were served on a stack of perfectly executed mashed potatoes & grilled veggies. We were celebrating a birthday & were given our choice of dessert. We selected the chooolate tower cake - aptly named & delish!! Servers were friendly & attentive. View is incredible. Loved it & hope to return!

We went to lightburns for lunch today. Harley was our server and she was fantastic. She didn’t seem to have any one else there working to help her, but she got our drinks and food out so quickly. The recommendations she made for the pulled pork was delicious. The views were a plus.

Weekend getaway dinner. Beautiful view and dining room decor. Attentive service and delicious food.

Very interesting venue. Main dining room is pretty pedestrian but there are 2 decks that have lovey views. One facing the lake and the other the golf course. We chose the golf course view and enjoyed our meal while counting deer. It was very peaceful. The service was good but the food was just ok. I had the spinach and cheese ravioli which was tasty but had a smoky taste that was just too much. My wife had the wedge salad and it was pretty good.

Next level service, food and ambiance. I will keep this short although I could go on and on about how much my wife and I enjoyed our late lunch here. Greeted and seated by Paul, who also served us, very much to our delight. The man knows his job and does it well. Fantastic recommendations and genuine hospitality. Then the food….so amazing. At 54, I rarely clean my plate but I could not get enough. Everything was so perfectly paired and balanced. And then we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Liza. Like Paul, she knows her job and is darn good at it! It was very apparent they also enjoy their work. I love to cook and am often a bit disappointed when I go out for a meal. But not here, I wish I lived closer, I would eat here regularly!

We waited nearly half an hour to place our order, and 58 minutes for our food. We only got refills on water when requested, and had to inquire about when our food would arrive. The vents above the table dripped water onto the table, and one guest. When the food finally came, everyone enjoyed their meal. All kitchens struggle some night, but updates and acknowledgement of the wait would have been a nice gesture.and perhaps reposition the tables so they aren’t under the vents?

Overpriced poor quality meal. Service was friendly but not competent. Lovely space so it's too bad they don't do better.

This place is very well kept and definitely worth the experience. Visiting the area for a couple days with my girlfriend.
Appetizer, brushetta was amazing. I have never eaten it that way, and the preaentation was beautiful. Main course was the Brisket with veggies and mashed potatoes. The flavor and goodness of the dish was wonderful. My only critique is that when I think brisket, it doesn't get served this way, nor does my brisket shred. Still very good.
On to dessert, the brownie, ice cream, and bacon caramel sauce was the perfect ending to the evening. Would go back to try other things.

My filet mignon was unfortunately cooked Medium well when I did ask for it to be Medium rare. One of the waitress's response was that the cook gets nervous about undercooking it. I totally get that, however, an undercooked steak can be cooked more but the reverse cannot be done with an overcooked steak. The bernaise sauce was also served cold with my steak. The flavoring overall was very good but when I'm paying $62 for a steak meal I would like it to have the value of what I'm paying. I was offered a free dessert which I chose the chocolate cake to go and it was delicious. Overall flavoring of the steak, sauce, and sides was delicious.

Nice view of Stonewall Resort grounds. Food was good but not great, except for the bruschetta appetizer which was stellar.. We preferred the food at Stillwaters at the resort, as well as their more extensive menu options..

Exceptional. Great food and service. Great view of the lake. The salmon and snapper dishes were incredible. Save room for dessert.
