We had made reservations 1 month in advance. When we got there, the hostess was not ready. Eventually she came and said to sit in the bar because our table wasn't ready, or we could sit at a table for 4. We just took that table. The food was excellent and very generous portions too. We were alittle disappointed there were children there on a Saturday evening. That really changed the vibe.
The smoked brisket & smoked pork shoulder were delicious. Be aware that the portions are huge & could easily be shared. The pork was heavily seasoned and a bit dry but still yummy! The meats were served on a stack of perfectly executed mashed potatoes & grilled veggies. We were celebrating a birthday & were given our choice of dessert. We selected the chooolate tower cake - aptly named & delish!! Servers were friendly & attentive. View is incredible. Loved...
We went to lightburns for lunch today. Harley was our server and she was fantastic. She didn’t seem to have any one else there working to help her, but she got our drinks and food out so quickly. The recommendations she made for the pulled pork was delicious. The views were a plus.
