Excellent food - Real mashed potatoes, chicken casserole and green beans. Rolls are HUGE. Husband had fried fish and shrimp. No room for pie but we will certainly return to this spot.

The food was great. Not sure if the waitress was new? We waited for quite some time for her to wait on us. She actually waited on a couple that came in well after us first. She took our drink order and went missing again. When our food came, she didn't return. I even overheard the couple behind us waiting on refills like our table. It was not that busy. She had 3 tables. When we went to pay the other waitress who had been quite busy, she checked us out while our waitress stood complaining about how she couldn't wait till the end of her shift. We love the food. You cN bet next time we will sit on the brunette's side. She was great really busy but always ?

Really slow, waited on several people first that came in after me. Ordered ice tea to have while waiting for to go order never got it, but was charged for it. Had 2 different orders but all put together had to get it figured out, didn't get everything ordered and ordered 2 sides for 2 different people but they packed them together. Very disorganized...eventually the food is good, service is friendly, but slow and disorganized.

The owner was rude and refused to take an item that was ordered but what they sent out as the item was a far cry from what was ordered. Avoid the restaurant at all cost. Your better off just going to a fast food burger place. The food will taste better too

The food was great and they were so busy, yet the service was still extremely good and on top of everything. Everything was clean and peaceful and nice place to enjoy dinner with a friend or family.

The waitress kept forgetting the sweetener I ask for when we ordered our drinks. Failed to bring my dining partner's one of two sides. She had to return twice to the next table and ask what they had ordered. Only brought one roll.

Great place to stop when traveling. Hubby had meatloaf and I had roast beef open sandwich. Both were very good. Their rolls are fantastic and peach cobbler a must have.

If you're around sissonville or pocatalico wv stop in here. I ordered the shrimp and Kenny had the fish and shrimp. Very delicious. Next time I'm trying the peach cobbler. Unknowingly, we came in at 8 at closing but our waitress was so very nice and didn't even let us know until after we ordered and that was to see if we wanted dessert before shutting down the kitchen. I always told myself I would never be one of those ppl that showed up at closing demanding service. But last night I was unaware. We are up here working and ain't used to the area yet. But she was so nice and awesome! Thanks for the outstanding service!

We stopped here while passing through Charleston. We selected TopSpot for lunch on a whim. What we got was nothing short of extraordinary! This restaurant is truly one that takes home cooking to a new level. Everyone loved what they ordered. If you stop here, try the meatloaf sandwich. It was the best meatloaf I have ever had hands down! If I am ever within 100 miles of Charleston again, I will plan my trip around making sure I come back here.

I have attended several dinners that were catered by Top Spot. The food was delicious and the servers were professional and courteous. I definitely recommend them if someone needs to hire a caterer.

Home cooking, and a lot of choice on the menu. The food is good is the prices are incredible. $3.99 for a BTL. $10 for a pie- and excellent homemade pie. (I had the Graham cracker pie and Coconut pie.) I did have to ask our server for a refill on my tea, and ask her to bring enough silverware for everyone at my table. Also, you go up to the window to pay after your meal. The server didn't mention that and there was confusion at my table. But I defiantly recommend this place- especially for the area that it's in.

We ate here twice in the same vacation, once on the way down and again on the way back. The chicken and dumplings is super tasty, I had it both times. Hubby had baked steak and said it was great too. The rolls were really good as well. Portion were generous and the mashed potatoes were real. Wish I would have had room for dessert because they had a good selection of lies and cobblers.
