We stayed here 4 nights during the bitter cold, snow and freezing rain. Nice, cozy rooms with delicious hot breakfast every morning. Great snowshoeing trails. He kept the snowed cleared. Easy drive to Snowshoe mtn.
I can't say enough positive things about this place! Did a women's mt bike clinic and stayed at the Elk River Lodge. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the food was fantastic! It surprised us because it's way out there in the forest and we didn't expect top chef! But we got it! I'd go back in a heartbeat :)
