Roth is a superstar bartender! Answered all of our questions, made awesome drinks and made dinner a great time!
The service was slow. We had to ask for refill on drinks twice. The salad came out with main meal. The meal was cold
Absolute garbage
Food was bland for the price and service surprisingly slow while not being busy.
I'm a tough cookie to please and these guys hit all the notes. I also have a super picky child who lives on french fries and chicken fingers who loved his fettuccine alfredo as well as the shrimp scampi which was an extra special surprise. My Florentine was absolutely delicious and the next time I'm on the mountain we will be back
Valentin was an amazing server! Food was great, but we wished they still had pizza for the younger kids in our group. Enjoyed the meal!
Long wait time before dinner arrived. Lasagna was not hot and was mostly pasta. would not order again. the steak was overcooked and tough. Very disappointed. checks for 3 couples were mixed up and needed to be redone. only good thing, our waiter was very polite and tried hard
Food was meh, but better than expected. Shrimp and mushroom pasta dish was good. seever was friendly but not well informed. good enough for an isolated ski area
No real complaints but food was okay just (except for the fried calamari, don't do it). Service was good
The view is beautiful! Our service was excellent. The kale salad was terrific!

Best Italian restaurant in the area if you can find it. Great views from the windows seats. Good service that is knowledgeable about the area and ski runs.
Let me start by saying this place is super difficult to find. Sometimes that can add to the charm! Not in this case. It further confirmed my suspicion that this was well below average Italian food. I don’t think I’ve ever written a google review in my life until now. But…I feel compelled to. The cost of this food for the quality is INSANE. I have been to plenty of underwhelming restaurants but this one takes the cake for the worst. It has the unfortunate combination of tiny servings, high prices, and HORRIBLE FOOD. Again, none of that would been that offensive or surprising (especially considering how expensive SnowShoe is in general)…if the food wasn’t so bad. The food is honestly so underwhelming I feel like you would do better just putting together what you have at home, or in this case our Airbnb. Not to mention at the price point of like 25 bucks an entree.
The waiter was super sweet and I could tell he was quite embarrassed with how the restaurant was/ the food. It wasn’t his fault. We chose this spot as a little bit of a nicer spot than the ale house to have a nice dinner…but the ale house’s food was so much better. Please do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else in this area or make dinner at home. It also took forever and I’m not sure why considering nobody was really there.
This was our first time dining at Al Dente. Staff were very attentive and food was served hot & fresh. My husband's Osso Buco was outstanding. From the mussels appetizer to the creme brûlée dessert, we were pleased our dining experience. Portions were generous and the prices reasonable. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the lower level of the old Mountain Lodge.
If you’re craving Italian food while you’re staying in Snowshoe, Al Dente is the spot! The food is good, the views of the mountains are beautiful, and the service is great! When I was there, I ate at the bar. The bartender and bar area server, Roth, was awesome! Not only was the food and drink service great, he also had great advice for various slopes, things to do at the resort, and in general had an upbeat and fun attitude.
Our waiter, javi, was awesome. The bartender Roth was great as well and makes a nice old fashioned
