I thought this place was going to be nice considering the location of it. Starting with the general cleanliness, it was dirty and run down. There weren't any waitresses or any signs telling you where to go so you just have to figure it out on your own. We ordered food but you had to go to the bar to order your beer. The bartender was an older male that barely acknowledged me. He took a while to acknowledge my general presence and yet, never made eye contact with me. He rudely asked "what do you need." Classy! Got my beer and went to pick up my food. The food looked great! The taste though, definitely not worth the price. I ordered bacon on my burger and it was one of those round frozen, tasteless pieces of bacon that you see at fast food restaurants. I told the lady that handed me my food thank you, she replied with "uh huh." Bottom line is a little customer service would be appreciated especially if you're going to sell tasteless food and overpriced beer.

Parking: If you aren't staying in that part of the resort you have to walk or catch a bus to the restaurant. You can't park your personal vehicle in their lots.

If you are looking for food, this ain't the place, unless you like cheap bar food that costs 5 times what it's worth.

The bar is open til 9pm. They stopped serving food at 3:15pm. Not cool. Do better. I was one of ten people suddenly turned away.

Bartender got tired and closed down the bar at 1030 on a Friday night….

Wings and fried pickles were good. Chill spot during the day and fairly lively at night.

Straight out of the 1980s. Hoots is the perfect break from your ski day if you're looking for a cold Michelob, chilli & some tots. Love the old feel.

The girl preparing the food was licking her fingers several times and then touching the food. I have never seen something more disgusting and unhygienic. She never washed her hands. We waited a long time for our food and I’m sorry I didn’t cancel it but I didn’t see any other options nearby. The water also tasted terrible from the container- at least filter it. I appreciate the gluten-free buns but the lack of hygiene is such a turn off I will never go back. Truly disgusting

Everything is overpriced and the chicken sandwich is just 2 tenders on a bun. The tots were a good side though.

Great after ski hangout if you're on this side of the mountain or lunch break. Doesn't get quite as busy as the village areas or down by the lake.

Old school dive bar with no pretense and no frills. I like it.

Drink prices vary depending if you know the bartender. Drinks are $5 if you know the bartender. If not you’ll pay more. It was very odd when the guy next to me clearly paid $5 for a cocktail and I paid $8 for the exact same one. I thought that’s a good price so I asked for the same drink. Got the same drink, just “visitor” pricing. Oh well. Just is what it is so don’t be surprised. God bless the inventory and bookkeeping.
