What a great little brewery in Snowshoe village! I got the Kolsch and Blonde Ale- I really enjoyed them both. A really cool place to grab a beer if you’re in the village. It is cozy inside and there are seats outside but you have to order a can beer to drink outside.

The beer is good. Kind of a weird set up inside with bar service only. Have to order at the bar and no bar seating. Food prices seem okay until you see the tiny portions and taste it. Everything looked and tasted like institutional food. I’d go there for a few beers but I wouldn’t eat there again.

Despite some recent “reviews”, we have always found the staff, food, and service to be excellent at Old Spruce Brewery. Not sure where the 1 star reviews are coming from? They can get busy at times, but work extremely hard to take care of all their patrons. For those who said they won’t be back, we appreciate it…it will reduce our wait times!

Amazing beer and food. We are from “beer city” of Asheville and take home old spruce beer on the regular. Can’t beat the atmosphere and awesome staff! 🍻. Added bonus live music often!
There were 22 of us that were going to party there last evening, but we were treated very badly by a mean rude lady behind the bar. Snapped at us because she thought we had two many menu's. We left immediately. Will never be back.

The beer here is legit INCREDIBLE. We stopped in on a whim coming in to snowshoe for my birthday and ended up back here every day of our stay. Service is great and the vibe is just really chill; perfect for what we were looking for. Favs of the group: hazy ipa, raspberry, white stout, kolsch and blonde. But we didn’t get a chance to try everything. Loved it and will be back! Really made my birthday trip.

Stay away! Food, service, and drink was horrific. Ordered 1 drink and the appetizer and meal came before receiving. The food tasted disgusting and it was over priced for what it was. Reviews were good so we tried it but never again!
