We visited Old Spruce Brewery twice, the first and last nights of our trip to Snowshoe. The smashburgers were so good and the beer đș choices made it hard to decide. The large serving of brisket nachos were filling and delicious. The last night we went for an appetizer and beers. The edamame with Sriracha soy drizzle was so flavorful I'm going to make it at home! We loved the dark Porter with it. Off season we had to order at the bar so I'm not sure if it's always that way. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I'd definitely go there again! I want to try the ahi tacos or the ahi tacos as a rice bowl. Lots of choices!

Disappointing and weird, It's all self serve, get your own drinks, and the food took forever to come out,
Your not going here for the food or service.

Wow!! The food was delicious, had the candied bacon and pretzel, ample servings and very tasty. Beer was good, service was excellent, the views were amazing. What a treat to watch the deer in the forest a few yards away. Great place to go after a long day of skiing but not quite dinner time. The vibe was very casual and relaxing.

A hidden gem in the Snowshoe area. Historically weâd just leveraged the village-but stopped by on the way out of Silver Creek. We had been missing out. Sat with the brewmaster for awhile who clearly both enjoys and is excellent at his craft. The full rainbow of beers and every single one we tried was excellent. The food did well to match the drink, nevermind live music and the great atmosphere. Stop by, you wonât regret it.

What a great little brewery in Snowshoe village! I got the Kolsch and Blonde Ale- I really enjoyed them both. A really cool place to grab a beer if youâre in the village. It is cozy inside and there are seats outside but you have to order a can beer to drink outside.

The beer is good. Kind of a weird set up inside with bar service only. Have to order at the bar and no bar seating.
Food prices seem okay until you see the tiny portions and taste it. Everything looked and tasted like institutional food. Iâd go there for a few beers but I wouldnât eat there again.

Beers are good... Bartender was friendly. Food is mediocre, portion sizes are small. We had the rice bowl which I do not recommend. Overall underwhelming.

Despite some recent âreviewsâ, we have always found the staff, food, and service to be excellent at Old Spruce Brewery. Not sure where the 1 star reviews are coming from? They can get busy at times, but work extremely hard to take care of all their patrons. For those who said they wonât be back, we appreciate itâŠit will reduce our wait times!

Great food and beer! Favorite beer is the Platinum Blonde. Love their ice cream sundaes and my new favorite, the Smasbburger. Excellent service and super friendly owners!

Excellent rice bowls and wide selection of amazing brews for this non-IPA guy. Mountain mocha and white stout personal favorites.

Amazing beer and food. We are from âbeer cityâ of Asheville and take home old spruce beer on the regular. Canât beat the atmosphere and awesome staff! đ». Added bonus live music often!
