We visited Old Spruce Brewery twice, the first and last nights of our trip to Snowshoe. The smashburgers were so good and the beer 🍺 choices made it hard to decide. The large serving of brisket nachos were filling and delicious. The last night we went for an appetizer and beers. The edamame with Sriracha soy drizzle was so flavorful I'm going to make it at home! Wow!! The food was delicious, had the candied bacon and pretzel, ample servings and very tasty. Beer was good, service was excellent, the views were amazing. What a treat to watch the deer in the forest a few yards away. Great place to go after a long day of skiing but not quite dinner time. The vibe was very casual and relaxing.
A hidden gem in the Snowshoe area. Historically we’d just leveraged the village-but stopped by on the way out of Silver Creek. We had been missing out. Sat with the brewmaster for awhile who clearly both enjoys and is excellent at his craft. The full rainbow of beers and every single one we tried was excellent. The food did well to match the drink, nevermind live music and the great atmosphere. Stop by, you won’t regret it.
