Unfortunately for all involved, the restaurant was unexpectedly busy with not enough staff for dinner tonight. We waited a long time to have our order taken, though our waiter did apologize for the delay. Our meals were hot and delicious however no one checked back with us if we needed anything else (and we had, but made do). I had to ask for the check, they did not notice we were done and waiting. The atmosphere is great, the food was delicious, however at least tonight...
According to the website, the closing time on Sundays is 4, so we called in an order around 2:30. We tried to order the salmon and the fettuccine alfredo, but my boyfriend was told they don’t start serving entrees until 5. Not sure how that works if they close for the day at 4. They allowed him to order the pasta (listed as an entree on the menu), but not the salmon. He ended up getting a chicken club. Food was alright — the chicken was over-salted but it made up for the under-seasoned...
The restaurant itself was amazing and relaxing! However, I ordered a burger and it came out very rare. The waiter said that the cooks are trained to cook burgers 1 way so they don’t ask how you want your burger cooked. This was my first time here and I wish my experience was better to come back.
