Booked online and reservation was ready when we arrived. We were seated in the large room overlooking the Coal River. The view was pretty and the light really was reflecting off the river which made for a delightful setting. Wine list was lacking. There was a bar that seemed to make whatever cocktail you were in the mood for. We both ordered the stuffed chicken. The food was good. Chicken was a little dry, but not bad. Thought we'd give it a try. Restaurant is in an old house overlooking a small river. Was seated with a river view, but it's not the most beautiful river I've ever seen. Had steak which had absolutely no seasoning and was mostly over done. The crab dip appetizer was good and salad was good except for the bleu cheese dressing which tasted nothing like bleu cheese. As others have stated it was way over priced for the quality of the food. Probably won't go back. Sorry guys and gals!

The food is exceptional, fresh and well presented. The food is upscale, but the prices are very reasonable. The house is an old historical home with beautiful and interesting interior.
