Gad Dam Brewing, LLC (GDB)

Beers were just ok to me. We are a little more adventurous of drinkers / eaters. Food truck provided sandwiches that were tasty.

Awesome little place with tasty regional beers and ciders on tap! The flatbreads and pretzel were also great. Nice atmosphere and both indoor and outdoor seating!

I love that they serve smoothies and coffee too, not just alcohol. It feels like I'm hanging out in a friend's backyard. Super dog friendly. A true little gem!

A real relaxed place on the main stretch! They have some great in house brews and other local drinks. Highly recommend! For a brewery it’s extremely family friendly.

Couldn’t give a rating since nobody was there. All posted information stated they were open, however, we showed up at 10 am only to find it locked and empty.

Atmosphere: gets a 5 - such a cool place, just off the highway but quiet with a lot of cool touches.

Beer: gets a 0 - they had one of their wheat’s on tap - which was completely flat, so we got a different beer - an IPA and it was also undrinkable. My husband watered the tree with it.

Cider: 4. I enjoyed it.

Service: 3 The lady had zero personality, but they did replace the first beer. The guy behind the bar didn’t wait on us, but he did seem very nice.

Food: no rating as we didn’t get any.

I really, really wanted to like this place, but I cannot give it more than three stars if the beer is undrinkable.

This place is unexpectedly perfect. Learning that there is a limited food selection, good beer menu, and a few basic mixed drinks, one might be tempted to pass this gem by. Outdoor dining in the woods (really) or the back porch adds to the wonderful down home local flavor of the place. It screams West Virginia in the best possible way. We enjoyed ourselves and wished we had been able to stay longer.
