What a great find. The atmosphere was great, food was amazing, and service was excellent. I love a good dive bar, and this place is top of the list of places. If you're looking for a spot to stop in town, this is your spot for a good time. Would recommend highly.

During a recent trip to Summersville, I stopped for lunch at The Local and was pleasantly surprised. While I wasn't expecting a bar and pool tables, the food was outstanding! I had one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, and the fries were perfectly cooked. Candace provided excellent service and ensured I was happy with everything. I would definitely eat here again.

Visited this local Summersville WV spot for lunch after a hike and this place is a gem. Our waitress Greenley (apologize if misspelled) was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend getting their street corn and the local WV burger w/fries. The food was spectacular and I wish great success for this restaurant.

We were in town for Bridge Day and happened across this hidden gem. Every single staff member we encountered from the time we walked in the front door was so friendly and personable. We had the bacon cheese fries for an appetizer and 2 different types of chicken wraps and tenders for meals and everything was absolutely delicious! I’m only sad this spot isn’t close to our house or we’d become regulars right away!
