Was on a road trip and needed to stay somewhere along the way. Went with my sister and her teenage son. We stayed in one of the glamping rooms and it was really nice! Loved how peaceful it was and you’re able to see the stars from the room. We chose to have dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was nice. There’s running water and ac in the glamping rooms. The room was dusty/dirty. Fan blades, window shades, and the perimeter of the floor had a layer of dust built up. The room had a mildew smell. Outside of the home was starting to look neglected with maintenance needed. It was a quiet night's sleep and the chicken parmesan meal was good. Overall not bad.
Stayed in one of the yurts on our way home frome Myrtle Beach and my family and I loved it. Located in the middle of the West Virginia Mountains, situated in a cute 200 year old mountain town, in the woods along a river. We we're looking for something different than the typical 3 star hotel and our glad we made the choice. The yurt was spacious and cutely decorated.
