Loved the selection of the bar and how well its kept clean. However, noe of the deserts are gluten free so if you cant eat gluten or meat the selection is slim. Jello and whip cream slim!

I love Shoneys. I would love for them to come back to Beaumont, Texas. I would be a weekly visitor.

TRAVELERS AVOID! Our experience at Shoneys was our first and will be our last. The buffet had some of the most questionable food I've seen for a buffet. "Hamburgers" drowning in some soup/juice, fish? With rice, a chicken strip with a smack of bbq, amongst a slew of other foods that would make you raise your eyebrows at. The only thing I knew for certain wasn't going to make me sick was salad I got after picking around all the brown pieces. The staff was kind and refilled our drinks and took our plates quickly, but that's about all the good this place has going for it.$12 for the salad bar + $3.50 for soda = unlimited trips to the bathroom for the next 5 hours

I dinned in at lunch time and had the buffet. There was a mix of food items; breakfast, mashed potato, fried chicken, meatloaf, greens and mac n’ cheese. It was okay. I made 2 trips to the buffet and was full enough. I recommend stopping in here if you’re passing by on the road.

Following the pandemic, there was a supposed "temporary " change to the menu and set-up of what Shoney's had to offer. This location (and only this location) discontinued their menu and began offering only their bar(s) and sandwich line-up. This means that there is approx 5-7 sandwich options available as well as the soups, salad, fruit and desert bars, and the hot bar. They also still have their specialty desert menu. This is a huge turn off for many customers and had taken a toll on business.

Food was either cold or over cooked. The only good thing I ate was the prepackaged ice-cream sandwich. The muffin on the dessert bar was as hard as a hockey puck and when the issues where brought to management's attention we where given nothing but excusses.will NOT be returning

We got the Food bar which had a combination of breakfast and lunch items. Most of it was pretty good, though obviously not a 5-star restaurant. It was, at least, warm and fresh. The service was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean.
