I had an amazing experience at Starbucks in Flatwoods. The store was clean, staff were friendly, and the barista made my drink SO GOOD. It was delicious. I believe her name was Jordan! Overall, definitely would come again.

I have been coming here since they opened and visit the store 2-3 a week or more. By far this is my favorite in the state! They make my drink right, are friendly and sweet! I always feel welcome and this has become my “safe” place to sit and relax! Thank you all! ♥️

Petty drama filled energy in this location for sure. Whispering about customers in their headsets not knowing they were being watched just so I could write this review about the childish staff. Get back to work and stop eating over the counters while you make the drinks. Disgusting.

Placed a mobile order just a couple minutes before I pulled in. Went through the drive through and was told the order wasn’t received to wait a few minutes and then come back through the drive through to not hold the line up. Not a problem as I had just placed it minutes before, understandable. However, we were the only customers on the property so we pulled into a parking spot near the drive through entrance to wait 5 minutes and go back through. Within 2 minutes an employee came out with our drinks, to which my husband said “oh wow thank you, we were going to come back through as we were told, but you’re a sweet heart for bringing it out here”. Her immediate response was to rip into us about how if we had any decency we would’ve parked closer to the door. We explained we were told to wait and come back through the drive through to which she said “you’re a liar I heard her say wait a few minutes” and then proceeded to yell through our window until I cut her off and politely said this is not worth arguing about. To which she still chose to argue until we just had to drive off. The environment of this location has been this way every time we pass through town. Repulsive.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience. I ordered a Frappuccino and, as someone who genuinely enjoys watching the drink-making process, I stood there and watched. Unfortunately, what I saw was absolutely unacceptable. I watched my drink sit in the blender, melting and being completely forgotten, while the barista prioritized making several other iced and hot drinks for people who ordered AFTER me. By the time another Frappuccino was finally ordered and she decided to finish mine, it was a sad, melted mess with the consistency of an iced latte—NOT what I paid for.
I politely asked the cashier if they could remake it, and they agreed. The barista remade the drink promptly this time, but then handed it to me with an unnecessary, rude attitude and a snide comment about how it was “the second time making it by proper procedure.” That was never the issue! The issue was letting the first one sit so long it melted into something completely different. That comment was rude, uncalled for, and completely missed the point—the issue wasn’t “procedure,” the issue was that my drink was left sitting so long that it was ruined.
As a former Starbucks barista and long-time customer, I know exactly what Starbucks is supposed to stand for. Starbucks built its reputation on the idea of being a third place—a welcoming, consistent, and customer-focused environment between home and work. This visit was the opposite. Instead of hospitality and quality, I got dismissiveness and rudeness.
Mistakes happen, but being rude to a polite customer who simply wanted the drink they paid for is unacceptable. Management needs to seriously address both product consistency and staff attitude at this location. The Starbucks “third place” promise only means something if it’s upheld, and experiences like this drive customers away.

There are no people but I had to wait for someone to come to me, it is very dirty, the dishes are dirty, there is no soap even in the toilet, everything is terribly dirty in this establishment

Have traded at this store at least once a week since it's opening. It is always clean and staff is cheerful and courteous. Which is a shock, for it appears to be the most poorly managed unit I've been in. Erratic hours, often drive through only(road trippers love having no toilet), brands of bulk beans out of stock for up to a month, unable to ground beans for a broken grinder , ad nauseum! Will switch to an online roaster in the future and shop for carryout drinks at a merchant serious about providing a service.
The guy at the window, Dakota, was extremely welcoming and friendly. Before even receiving my food I wanted to write a review on this location due to his work ethic and radiation of joy at 7am. Most workers are groggy during the morning hours so that is what’s expected, Dakota took me by surprise and completely made my day. Now on the other hand my drink. I ordered a venti Carmel frappe and it tasted watered down, almost as if there was too much ice and no carmel except for the topping. I wasn’t going to say anything about the drink because I understand some days are just rough but on multiple occasions my drink has been messed up at this location, I’m not sure who made my drink but the staff may need a little bit more training. If it weren’t for the kind worker Dakota who just hands out the food, I probably would never purchase from this location again due to the constant drink mistakes.
