Their custard machine and fryer were down for cleaning30 minutes before closing time. It’s a custard place so if they stop serving custard 30 minutes before, just adjust the closing time.

While the Custard Stand is famous for their hot dog chili, they have a lot more to offer than hotdogs and ice cream! I had a couple slaw dogs and French fries. They were great. Restaurant is retro style and there are picnic tables and an outside window for ordering as well. Great little place right off I79!

i am glad i stopped here on my way through the area because this was the best chili cheese dog i have ever enjoyed in my life. onion rings are awesome too. then i had to get a hot fudge sundae and it was the perfect cherry on top. i wish i had ordered 5 chili cheese dogs along with the best hot dog chili sign that's hanging they should have a sign that says warning chili cheese dogs may be habit forming and ordering only 1 will be a mistake!! awesome place i would definitely stop here if you are in the area

The custard stand is one of the best places to eat in flatwoods. The staff are very friendly. There are many options to choose from food wise and ice cream flavor wise. This place has something for everyone. Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed!
I got 2 hotdogs with chilli and onions on them. One was all beef and the other was classic which both were amazing! Super cheap prices! Also got a mango smoothie which turned out to be really great as well. We were served immediately and she even brought the smoothie out to me once I was done with me food. Got the fries to try and they are a must try!!

Pizza burger and cheese burger could not even eat. The meat smelled like it was rotten. The milkshakes were OK not great. Wasted 43 dollars that night won't be going back ever.
