Nice place, love the food. Management however has some MAJOR work to do with the poor old lady working the kiosk. She had the whole establishment held up taking 5-10min per order, but she was really overwhelmed and should probably be working a diffrent position. Overall good spot but they need a diffrent girl working the register. Also several parties left after waiting 10-20min in line.

My stepson and I stopped for gas and noticed The Custard Stand , decided we’d stop for lunch on the way back through. It was pretty busy ( mostly outta towners ) We ordered after waiting a lil while , not bad . When I had to go to restroom you literally have to touch the person sitting at booth to get into restroom. The walls were dirty , very unkept in outdoor eating area . Only soft drink you could get was a kinda cold bottle ! We had eaten at the one on Webster Springs , WV which was top notch for a hot dog joint. Anyway won’t be going back the the Flatwoods location.

Absolutely pig slop America's nastiest chili yuk hot dogs are supposed to be all beef look like chicken and pork seem to be boiled hot dogs nasty chili a little bit of coleslaw wrapped in paper probably about the worst hot dog I've ever ate
I have never seen so many flies in a resteraunt in my life! There were stickers in each window covered with dead flies, flies on the tables, benches, walls, floor, flying around, and on the food line. My mom went to the bathroom, and while she was in there, another customer and I discussed the flies. I counted 128 in about 3 minutes. I'm sure that there were more. When my mom came out, we left... Anyone who has had to take a food handlers class knows that flies spread Salmonella, E. coli, and Shigella, along with other diseases. The health department would close this restaurant down if they did an inspection - more than 10 is a violation and causefor concern. I honestly can't believe that the employees aren't refusing to open, how embarrassing for them :/

Not what I'd expect from a small business. The 5 girls working seemed more interested in talking in the back than being out front serving customers. We ordered food and sat down to eat inside. One girl brought our food and walked off without asking if we needed anything. We had to wait for one to come back out to ask for ketchup. They all 5 walked out at one point when another girl showed up to visit with them. Then they all started to walk to the back again just as we were standing waiting to order ice cream. Luckily one noticed us so we could order. But unfortunately, even though they pride themselves on 24+ flavors, they didn't have chocolate available 😕. The fries were good though.
