Ate there this morning at around 0930 hrs, 14November2024, not knowing what to expect. The one waitress on deck had just conquered the first wave of diners that had apparently just departed prior to our arrival. All by herself, I might add. She was cheerful and efficient, along with having an outstanding positive attitude! She, even, drew smiley faces on my two boy’s OJ cups : ) . Our food arrived in a timely and efficient manner; hot and fresh. The atmosphere was family...
While traveling we are always looking for a local dinner to try out. This stop in West Virginia turned out to be a good spot to get some good food. The open face roast beef was very good. It was a big portion too My wife had a cheeseburger and tater tots. She said it was a good burger.
I will add that this place was very busy when we stopped in. The place like many places seemed short staffed. The lady that waited on us did a good job.. We do hope to stop by here again...

Restaurant chains are there for a reason. And the reason is good. I get it. In a different town or state and don't have time to try something new you know exactly what you're gonna get from a chain. Good, bad, or usually indifferent. But if you're passing through, or even a local, give the Waffle Hut a chance. Kind of tucked away with no large "HERE WE ARE" sign it's easy to miss. But you'll be missing out. Just passing through on a motorcycle...
