We stopped for lunch. Great lunch specials. Server mixed a skinny margarita that was “Top Shelf”! Great service!

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews posted here. I might add that some of the photos are outdated and some even from their former location. We have been regulars here since they opened years ago. We have never had a bad experience.
The food is always excellent and the service is always great. The menu is quite extensive and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend El Paso Mexican Grill.

This is, hands down, the best Mexican I've had since I moved here from California 5 years ago.. Flavorful, authentic Mexican food. Karla was a fantastic waitress! This place is highly recommended.

The food was fantastic, large portions, for a great price. And it came out very quickly. We had multiple staff attend to us constantly, making sure we waited for nothing and gave us great customer service! The best customer service I've seen at a restaurant maybe ever. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Pulled up to this restaurant excited for a Mexican dinner, and it's so rundown and disheveled on the outside (building, landscaping, sign hanging from the cord), we left without entering. Maybe the food is good, but it was so unappealing from the outside that we chose to eat elsewhere.

The food is average. However service during the week is awful. I sat for more than 10 minutes before I got someone's attention to take my order. I don't know how much longer I would have had to wait if I wasn't actively trying to flag someone down. He acted surprised that I wanted to order food. It was also a chore to get a drink refill. It wasnt busy at all. As I was one of 4 tables (10 people total) in the entire resturaunt. This experience wasn't as nice as I've had at other El Paso resturaunts in the Ohio Valley region.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Great Food, Great Price!

After a stop at Cabela’s, we had a delicious meal at El Paso Mexican Restaurant right next door—and we’re glad we did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a great value. I had the chicken fajitas, and they were outstanding—grilled perfectly with thin, tender strips of chicken and loaded with flavor. My wife ordered the chimichanga, and she loved it. Everything came out hot and well-prepared.

The salsa was tasty, the water was clean and crisp, and the service was friendly and fast. We both ate for just $34, and left full and satisfied. If you’re near the Highlands in Wheeling, this spot is definitely worth a stop!
