The food is always tasty and the servers are really nice. I always make a special request of fries on the side instead of on the sandwich and the servers always smile and say ok! I really enjoy this place.
Stopped for lunch. Not enough wait staff. Angus cheese steak almost un edible. Cole slaw lacked flavorful dressing. Fries greasy and soggy. White doughy bread bereft of flavor. Wife's pastrami tough and greasy. BEST PART: no prices on drink menu. Waiter was clueless. This may not even be legal. Far cry from old Primantis in Pgh. Strip.

We visited on Thursday night late hoping to watch March Madness. Came into the restaurant and sat at the bar, didn’t get service for nine minutes and that was only when we flagged down one of two bartenders who had passed us no less than 14 times.We came to find out that we visited on a night when they were running two different pizza promotions. One was a standing Thursday night promotion, the second one was a buy one get one free takeout promotion.Long story short, the place was overwhelmed, and we came in late in dinner service, the place was trashed.As new guest were sitting down, who did get service, we could overhear the bartender telling them that if they ordered a pizza, they should plan on waiting at least an hour.When we saw the place stacked with dirty dishes and broken equipment, we figured it best not to order food there.

Our fries were soggy and just warm our grandsons pizza was cold and my Pittsburger was also cold.That was the first time ever we had not so good food,

My wife, two kids and myself waited 20 minutes to be sat, which is understandable considering its a Thursday evening at prime dinner time. Once sat, we ordered immediately... Mac and cheese, a 9" pizza, and chicken wings. We then waited 1 hour and 25 minutes before asking for the manager and telling him to cancel our order. While speaking to the manager he was sarcastic and said "what do you want me to do about it? I had two Cooks call off tonight". Meanwhile the party sitting at the table next to us sat down 10 minutes after us and completely ordered and finished their food befor the manager ever came out to speak to us. Despite the wait, the waitresses were wonderful. Even Oliva,who was training.

Primanti Bros. has excellent food. I had a Collassal Fish Sandwich and my husband had a burger. We both had enough to take home for lunch the next day. I only gave 4 stars because the music was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation.

Wow! The size of their sandwiches and friendly staff alone is a good reason to return here. I ordered the sirloin steak and cheese sandwich, served with cheese, fries, slaw, and tomato on Italian bread, and it was delicious! So much meat, that I could only eat half of it, the rest I took home for a late-night meal. The atmosphere is vibrant, and having the pseudo inside/outside setup works to create a relaxing vibe. Good tunes playing in the background and the service was incredible.Highly recommend this place! The sandwiches are worth the hype and more than reasonably priced. You'll love it!
