This is my first time here as I was passing through. However, I was recommended this restaurant by a good friend of mine. When I stopped by they were still only serving breakfast. I decided to get the western omelette. It was mediocre nothing special. The egg tasted very dry as if it was the artificial eggs. Though the homemade sausage and gravy was delicious! If you decide to get the country ham make sure you have something to drink (it’s so salty). I wouldn’t mind coming...
Me and a friend went on a drive to enjoy fall colors in WV and visited the town. We also wanted to try a local restaurant with local food. It’s a nice local resultant in the historical civil war town.\n\nThe food is mostly local recipes and different than major food chain. If you want to try new local recipes then this is the place.\n\nWe Enjoyed our lunch. Cost wise it’s reasonable. Parking is good. One unique thing was a working pay phone outside the restaurant entrance...
The food was delicious. Service was great. Such a friendly place. Our first time here. We had the reva chicken sandwich and fries. If we ever travel this way again we will be sure to stop and eat.
