My family and my parents were just in the area yesterday and had the most delightful experience at Mack’s Bingo. I have 4 young kids and it was pretty late and my little ones were hangry. One of my pet peeves with a place that focuses on selling burgers and hotdogs is when they have a very limited selection of preselected toppings. I know what I like on burger. And everyone has their own pet burger they think the world should try. Okay, offer your pet burger and tell us how great it is and then let the customer get what he wants on the burger. Same with hotdogs. Portillo's in Chicago has a GREAT dog, but they'll still let you get a hotdog anyway you...
Wow!!! Servers friendly. Atmosphere cool and interesting. Food was wonderful!! Not likely to be in this area again, but if I am, I WILL stop for another meal. Worth your time to go off the beaten path.
