Perfect stop while passing through to DC. And, we each got a fun little souvenir we found while we waited for our food.Simple yet friendly pay at the counter service.Pressure Fried (Broasted) chicken was juicy and delicious as was the burger.
Delicious food, prepared on site, from scratch. Great for my gluten free allergy riddled self. The shop has a varied collection of new, used, and made objects for sale while you wait for your meal to be prepared. Well we worth the stop.
I like to eat at this longtime Wardensville WV fixture which is a mix of antique/collectibles and home cooking, especially when their daily specials include something interesting. About a week ago it was the ramp burger (or you could get a ramp hot dog). Ramps are pungent wild onions found only under certain conditions in the mountains.
