The employees at the Wellsburg location are the rudest people I have ever met. Customer service goes along way and everyone at that location needs a seminar or something to teach them how to be decent and respectful to customers. I will do my shopping elsewhere as will my family and friends from now on

I was at this Kroger tonight to coupon. It was my first time being there. I went to self check out (that’s all that was open since it was 2am) and the (I’m assuming) manager, came up as I was scanning my coupons and proceeded to tell me I could only use 5 coupons total. I politely said this wasn’t the Kroger I normally go to, and that I’ve never heard of that rule since the policy states 5 LIKE coupons. He then proceeded to tell me he “doesn’t have time for me or my coupons” and I asked if he wanted me to just do all my transactions separate then, since he was only allowing 5 total. He says no, he said 5 and means 5 total no matter what. I told him he was being rude and he responded with “I know” and I made the comment that he should treat customers with respect and he then told me (which, pushed the last button for me) if I couldn’t afford to grocery shop there without coupons then I should go to Aldis or save a lot! At that point, I told him I was voiding my entire transaction and he told me “I’m not putting this stuff away. Put it back in your buggy and YOU put it away, where YOU found it.” I told him no, that’s not my job, to which he told me to never come back to that store “EVER.” I will be calling corporate when they open and expressing the amount of DISCRIMINATION and disrespect I received from their employee. I will never return and I will be telling everyone I know not to take their business there.

The majority of the management staff in Wellsburg, Wv store are rude ,condescending and unprofessional.The majority of the hourly employees are friendly and knowledgeable .
