We made it to WV! Such a beautiful drive! Pick up some bourbon for @kim_woodbridge paper planes! 😜 about a 7 hour drive from 🇨🇦and we found a local gem of a place with great service and a warm local family patron feeling by searching google reviews. I cannot recommend and rate Vern's high enough. Renee and her family made an outsider feel like home on my visit in the area. They were kind and generous, and talkative. The vibe was of close friends and family; you can sense the community feel. Oh, and the FOOD was great! Thank you for making my stay wonderful.
We were at the college for a volleyball tournament, looking for a place to eat after the event. Called and told them we had about 25 people they told us to come on over. The place has a small back room, which we completely filled with 25 people, the woman that waited on us was also the bar tender, SHE WAS GREAT!
