First time back in wheeling in a while. First time at the riverfront hall location. Didn’t get pictures of anything else due to being inebriated

The food is really good but a bit on the pricey side. The service was a bit slow considering the amount of people inside. The atmosphere was eclectic

So happy to have found another restaurant in the valley with gluten free options! I would suggest putting it on your menu/website though as we took a leap of faith from other sources saying there were GF buns.

I got the Gouda burger on a gluten free bun with a side salad. The burger and bun were delicious! They did mention there is no dedicated fryer for fries, but the side salad with balsamic vinaigrette was really good! My husband got the poutine and loved it. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

I honestly feel like I went there on an off day. Simply because I have heard really great feedback from others that dine there. I definitely would say it is a place more suited for a younger crowd. It has that industrial decor and uncomfortable hard seating which only a twenty and thirty something crowd enjoys. You have to order your own drinks and food which when dining out, I hate. If I am paying over 40 bucks to eat, I want to be waited on.

The location is wonderful. The Wheeling Nailers building is down the block, and you get views of the river. Now onto the food...

It is ok. It is not the best burger in town. The fries are fresh and delicious. Perfectly salted. The wings are cooked well, but I disliked the sauces. I tried the Mediterranean and the Buffalo. Both are a no go unless you enjoy spongey weird cheese on your wings and/or a strong vinegar-based sauce (Their Buffalo). A balsamic sandwich was also ordered and just too sweet.

It was busy and I can tell the locals like to hang out there. I would as well if I could bring a cushion for the seat and have better food. I would say go for the view and some pretty good fries. Go somewhere else for anything else.

Returned for a visit with family from out of town over holiday visit, was a bit of a turn off to find employee standing behind counter licking his fingers as he was eating, really didn't want to hang out to see if he was going to wash his hands in case he didn't,,,, nasty.

Avenue Eats is one of my favorite burger restaurants I have ever been to. I am not from the area, and I and my parents all make a point of stopping here when we are driving through. Not only are the burgers good - the fries are excellent too.

Having never been there before, we were slightly confused about the seating/ ordering process at first. We were told to seat ourselves and did, but soon realized we would need to order at the window before seating ourselves, lol! So, if its your first trip...order at the window, all beverages at the bar, then seat yourself. Staff was incredibly friendly, food was delicious and very laid back atmosphere. The place was clean and inviting. Loved the river view as well!

Absolute garbage service, COLD AND RAW burgers. Paid $37 for 2 burgers and couldnt believe what they served us… SUPER SMALL burgers, save your money people. And the bi*ch that took our order was very rude, like it was our fault they didn’t have anything but burgers. And also I guess you can’t customize anything about your order.
