A Must-Visit for History Buffs and Foodies Alike! What a fantastic experience! This historical building is an absolute gem, boasting awesome architecture that truly transports you back in time. The hospitality was top-notch. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who was incredibly hospitable. We had a great conversation about the business and the town's rich history, which really added to the personal touch of my visit. And the food? Simply great! I highly recommend their smash burger with their signature sauce – it was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. To top it all off, I was pleasantly surprised by their impressive variety of bourbons. The staff's knowledge was exceptional, and their recommendations were spot-on.

I recently had a surprise party for my sister in the event room. The food was fantastic! Doug was there to bartend for us and all the staff was supportive with all the amenities on time. There was never a worry the whole night and everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place for an event or just dinner. Excellent!

Visiting from Ontario, Canada. Just passing thru on our way home. Stopped by this gem for a bite to eat and our family had the BEST time! The manager Joe, aka Darrel 😏, was so kind and funny. Great conversation and some town history. Perfect end to a long travel day. The food was great too! Prices were really reasonable and decent portions sizes. Amazing view of the Wheeling Suspension Bridge. Stop by for a great time and some interesting facts about this cool bridge too! Thanks for having us!
The Bridge Tavern has become of my favorite places to eat in Wheeling. The food has always been great (and you can't beat the prices!), the restaurant is clean/nice atmosphere, and the staff is pleasant and friendly.

I will never go back to this place! Ever! Went with some girl friends tonight that I dont see often to have dinner. We ordered drinks and food...was having a good time, talking, hanging out, eating our food...There wasnt many places to sit because of a show going on at the Capital so we sat at the bar..not a problem at all...one of the bartenders asked if we needed anything else and we said no so he got our checks..was there start to finish not even a whole hour..we paid..we were finishing up and the girls were finishing their drinks and the same bartender comes up asks if we were going to the show..we told him no and he told us "well people are waiting to sit down and we need your seats"!! We were paying customers eating and finishing our drinks and were pretty much told to leave someone needed our seats! Regardless of weather or not we were going to the show we should have never been asked to leave just because there was someone else "going to the show" What poor service! Never in my life have I been to a restaurant that has told me to leave someone needed my seat when im literally sitting there eating and drinking spending time with people I rarely see! Not to mention the place smells like straight grease and food had no flavor! Wasnt given napkins or silverware either.

We had two burgers. The suspension smash burger and the 10th and main burger. They were both amazing. Not huge but for $11 they were worth it. The tots and fries were crispy and delicious too. I also got the Devil Anse IPA Draft. It was very good, not too hoppy.
