Char House on the Boulevard

We had reservations at noon and there were only two table already there. While we were called and advised that there would not be brunch, we were not notified there would not be any pizza. After 1.5 hours and a couple of complaints half our table got their food but myself and the other birthday girl waited another 10ish minutes. The food was not hot and only ok on flavor. Very disappointed for my first visit and birthday lunch.

Service was great food was mediocre for the prices.

The food is sub par and extremely overpriced make sure to ask for the MP on the steaks. I paid $51 for a terrible NY strip steak that was bland and very thin plus the mashed potatoes were flavorless. At least the waitress was good but I will never be back.

Great food!!! But do NOT order dessert. I paid $12 a piece for 2 pieces of this peanut butter pie and it’s tiny as can be. I thought I would get my moneys worth for the pie but no.But the wood fire pizzas are awesome. The service and waitresses are very polite but do NOT recommend getting the peanut butter pie for how much they charge for it.

Lighting is to low for my liking. Had 2 different pizza's. Both were great. Wife had crab cakes. Not that great. This was the second time there. First time had a burger that wasn't done sent it back. Came back still not done. Didn't have any hope in giving them another chance until my friend said the pizza was good. So trying the pizza changed my mind about the char house. Unique pizzas that are great.

🚨‼️ overpriced. ‼️🚨
My fianceé got the steak with potatoes and mac n cheese. $5 up charge for a side. Steak was so over cooked it tasted like a hamburger. This was supposed to be a filet… they did re cook it but this time it was raw basically. But by this time our kids had ate and been done eating before we got our food so waiting for another wasn’t in the cards. My strawberry mule was amazing but not $14 per drink good. Charcuterie board was ok. But for a Thursday with 2 kids I was shocked about $175 bill when I saw it. I didn’t even get a meal. I ordered the charcuterie board then a salad and potato. Service was great but Definitely will not be returning.

Our party of 6 dined at the Char House for dinner. Everything, food, service, atmosphere , was excellent. Such an enjoyable dining experience on the patio. We will definitely return.

Food 100/100. Service 100/100. Kaylee was a wonderful server, 100/100. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is my mind cannot fathom a bar in the mountains of West Virginia having 20 craft beers on tap and 0 domestics on tap. I can’t make it make sense.

Every year we stop here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and they always make our stay perfect by proving a nice place to eat with our kids and their own food is always so delicious! We recommend their pear salad and peach/strawberry seasonal salads 🥗 and the kids loved their generous portions of chicken fingers and fruit cups!

Had a good waitress for the most part until they over charged me for sodas sandwich was okay. Appetizer was absolutely horrible false advertising lump crab meat was a freezer fried nasty cold in the middle hockey puck. The desert was store bought. Food was not worth 200+ dollars for two people and no adult beverages

Ordered a filet that didn’t have the price listed. Figured it wouldn’t be more than $40. It ended up coming out to $70 with butter. And the steak tasted like a $10 filet. Horrible first impression and won’t be going back.
