Have not been here since 2010 (I live in WV, but am rarely in Wheeling). Friendly staff, fast service, fresh food (well the fries were kinda luke warm but they were not mine) I had a fish sammie, o rings and clams. It was like being at the beach minus the sand. Recommended.
Have previously visited this seafood restaurant over the past 15 years. Unfortunately my recent Saturday visit was not up to prior good experiences.
The availability of fresh on the ice in the display case was very limited. Some cans of crab meat but I can buy those where I live so nothing exceptional.
Seems many at the counter to eat there items were not available. Steamer broken per sign. Had a crab cake sandwich…..expected to be transported...

The food was ok - but for all the hype I was disappointed. Fish was in a cornmeal type of breading which was good but no real flavor there - very plain. Also be ready to order when in line as it moves fast. also eat the food there if you can as I took mine to go and it took a week to get the fried fish smell out of my car.
