This Dairy Queen is always busy. As far as I can remember, it is the only one in Wheeling that offers all of the lunch options. Their cheeseburger is very good. The fries are always hot. They can get backed up at times at the drive-thru. I've never had a bad meal or experience at this location.

I got the flutternutter blizzard and it made my day so much better. We stopped here after a horrible dinner experience and the girls working were super nice and the blizzards were amazing.

I got a blizzard and they handed it to me only partially mixed. The ice cream still partially looked like it does when they pump it out of the machine. They made it again, but instead of apologizing, just made excuses. The fries were luke warm and limp and looked like someone had scooped them out by hand and stuffed them in the container.

Last time I was at the Dairy Queen in Elm Grove, I went through the drive-thru and tried to order some food with my ice cream treats but they told me they stopped selling food. So now I go to the Dairy Queen in Wheeling for all of my ice cream treats and food.
Kid-friendliness: I always see children there at Dairy Queen in Elm Grove more than any other Dairy Queen in the Wheeling area.

The customer service is TERRIBLE! Three times now we have had issues with the same girl taking our order. If she doesn't know how to ring items up she should not be working on the register. Our ice cream was put in the bag and the lids were not out on correctly and the ice cream leaked through the bad and as we were walking in the door the bottom of the bag busted open and everything fell into the floor. Called down to talk to the manager and all she had to say was she would have a conversation with the girl at the window.

We sat in drive thru at the speaker for about 10 mins before they took our order. Only 2 cars ahead of us, not many inside. Then they forgot items that we ordered. Finally when my husband did get his missed item ketchup and pickles and top bun were sideways off the patty.

“Manager” was very rude & completely disrespectful. Like if you hate your job that much, literally QUIT.

Employees here need attitude check. Refuse to remake an order they clearly messed up. Don’t like your job then quit.

First time in a long time going through the drive through that our food was handed out to us while it was still nice and hot. The employees were extremely nice as well.
