Greco’s “A Relic That’s Overstayed Its Welcome”
Walking into Greco’s is like stepping through a time machine, except instead of charming nostalgia, you land smack in the middle of a dingy, poorly renovated 1990s nightmare. The decor hasn’t been touched in decades or appears just as tasteless as the pizza. sticky booths, faded posters, and the kind of grease that feels… permanent.
The pizza? A greasy, flavorless disc that manages to be both limp and dry at the same time. The buffet is an adventure in disappointment — congealed cheese, spaghetti that tastes like it was poured straight from a can (and not a good one), and sides that make you wish you’d just gone to the gas station for a hot dog instead.
The staff is a rotating cast of characters, many of whom look like they were dragged straight from the alley out back. Service is as inconsistent as the food, but at least it matches the overall vibe of the place: worn-out and running on fumes.
Greco’s has somehow survived in this town for years — maybe out of pure habit from locals who haven’t yet discovered better options. But here’s my prediction: give it two more years, and those dusty booths will be sitting empty for good.
Two stars — and that’s only because the soda machine works.

Definitely one of the top 5 Deep Dish Meat Lovers pizzas I've ever had. Perfect crisp toppings and sauce combination.
Add the bread sticks sauce and cheese and you have the ultimate combination. Definitely happy we found this place while in Wheeling

We stopped by for the buffet this evening. It was good as usual. Business was steady. The buffet was well maintained. They do a lot of takeout here as well.

really nice workers. very nice food. the buffet always had food. and if they don’t you can just ask and they will bring it out and refill it. the place is a bit dirty but the food makes up for it. they only have one worker working half the time but she is very good at her job. i recommend

Last two trips have been terrible. Food quality is very poor. Both times, the pizza was underdone and the mushrooms on the Michaelangelo were rancid. Also, the staff looked to be high as kites. Will not be going back.

Food good. So we ordered coffee and they are out of creamer and milk. The waitress brought us heavy sweet cream in little sauce cups, the managers suggestion. We don't drink sweet coffee and there's a dollar store next door that sells milk and creamer. What's that about? We didn't have any drinks.
I usually love this place and would have given them the highest rating. Me and my mom ate in and then took two orders home. We had got 4 calzones. 3 with everything and the one for my stepdad was supposed to only have cheese pepperoni and banana peppers. When I got it to him it had onions actually everything. I had specifically told the server when I ordered the to go two that one could be everything but the other one only cheese pepperoni and banana peppers, absolutely no onions. I think I told her that about six times. My stepdad doesn't eat anything with onions or green peppers. He doesn't even want onions to touch his food. I was terribly disappointed as was he. I felt bad brining him home a calzone that wasn't right. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't told the girl probably 6 times exactly what I wanted. I didn't check the order before driving 45 minutes to home with as many times as we confirmed how I wanted my stepdad order.
The food and service were good, but the establishment needs to be updated everything from lighting to redesign the whole place to make it feel more welcome.
A family favorite. The buffet is what we normally get.

Good place to sit down and eat small, family-friendly place. Red sauce is a bit watered down. The salads and italian subs are really good. Pizza is some of the best in the Ohio Valley, definitely underrated same goes with their calzones.
