They were 12 hours way from closing for 6 months. Everything was less than previous visits. The lodge is now undergoing major construction which we would have appreciated some notice in advance and reserved accordingly.
totally love our annual trip to Oglebay. Only downside is the floor is a bit slippery where the buffet is set up. Being I am normally in heels I usually opt out but I also prefer being served at dinner. Views are tremendouse and otherwise always a stellar experience!
Parking: Construction has a lot of parking spots unavailable so they're is limited parking. Good news is there not super busy this time of year.
