I'm so excited to hear that they are open again! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so much fun. We have always had great service too. The history of the area is all over the walls and so much fun to see and read. I highly recommend a visit anytime!

Went for lunch hour was seated quickly the service was very slow took about 12-15 minutes just to be waited on.

Then about another 10-15 minutes for drinks.

First time coming here heard a lot of great things maybe it was just a bad day.

Food wasn’t anything special would give it another try for hopefully a better experience.

Pricing is a little high $6 for a coffee everything else on the menu is $15 or above.

For a small business I get it I would imagine it’s not cheap to be there and prices on food has gone up.

Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5 experience.

Would try again.

Later Alligator is a such a gem! We stop here on roadtrips from the Baltimore/DC area to my family home in Ohio, and it's always a fantastic time!! From the historic decor to the beautifully welcoming sentiments posted around the restaurant, it always feels like a cross between going on an adventure and being welcomed home.
The drinks and food menu are extensive and everything tastes fresh, fantastic, and like it was made with care. The service has always been kind and attentive, and the sense of humor infused through the building and the staff makes this play a joy to stop at !

Had lunch recently at Later Alligator. Yummy food, great fast service, just a local gem! Enjoyed the subtle holiday decorations amongst the eclectic antique decor. Lots of Wheeling history on display and Susie is such a fan of the local community! 5 stars 🌟 Highly Recommended!

Cute and quirky. Has a fun vibe from the front door to the menu. We liked a lot off the menu, but the crepes were super delicious! We really enjoy coming here for a nice bite.

Interesting menu items. Nostalgic environment. Limited parking and seating. Food was good but unfortunately not hot and neither was the coffee. I'd give it another shot another day.

Great stop for kids and their grownups too. Highlights were crepes and Mac-n-rib sandwich but also good salad options too.

So cool the way the things around the restaurant are labeled so you can see where they came from- even the bathroom doors. Unique choices, good food and drinks. So cozy. Will definitely be back.
