Wait staff was rude no matter if you had a reservation or not. I understand it was the last day of the season, but come on...... there is nothing anywhere stating that someone would be with you shortly or anything. We walked into the resturant and was told we had to wait a minute. Someone did come up to us and show us to our table. No one smiled, joked, laughed or anything. We then watched all of the staff be rude to others coming in also. For such a nice place, the people were not nice, friendly or polite. It was a disappointment to be honest. We are chalking it up to an experience and walking away.

The food was not good for the price they charge. Crabcake was mushy and small. I expected lump crabmeat for $15 for one cake. The Bistro burger was overcooked and tasted like frozen beef patties. The location and ambience were beautiful.

We at lunch here in a beautiful fall day. Patio is beautiful. Everything we ordered was delicious. No kids menu but they make a few kids things. Our kiddo enjoyed the hummus plate. It's the kind of place you make as a destination and then enjoy the resort as an afterthought. Highly recommend!

Want to get a takeout order? Nope. Inside is completely empty but insisting they’re booked solid this evening. At least 3’empty tables outside. What if folks don’t show? Can someone take that table? Staff says management told them no go. Wouldn’t try to eat here again if you paid me and, looking at the reviews, it seems I was right. Can’t believe they’re told to turn down business.

Visited , Thursday 8/7/25. Never complain, but the 2 salads ordered were Oh so , disappointing. Salads were not presented as advertised, with missing ingredients , and quality of ingredients were lacking. Our server did ask if we needed more salad dressing for both salads. The portion size was smaller than we anticipated. Hopefully, just an off night !

My mom and I had lunch at Garden Cafe yesterday. Lovely outdoor seating, and our server was very nice. We ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich and the daily quiche, and planned to split and share our lunches. The bagel sandwich was good, but the tiny sliver of quiche was burnt. I have never had such a small burnt slice of quiche - I almost couldn’t see it on the plate, which was filled with salad. The server stopped by to see if we needed anything, and I explained that the quiche wasn’t really edible. She noted that it did look much smaller than their normal serving size. She asked if I wanted another, which would take 15-20 minutes, and I said no, we were almost finished eating. She said she could wrap a new quiche to go, okay that’s fine. Well, the second sliver of quiche was also burnt and just as small. We saw other lunches that looked very good, so if you go to the cafe, do NOT order the quiche! Disappointed, and for the price, felt kind of ripped off.

We enjoyed several dishes including the flatbread of the day, BLT salad, crab cake, and shrimp & grits. I think the greens and veggies were picked fresh for our dishes - just perfect. The shrimp & grits is one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. The view from the terrace is lovely. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.
